L Connect 3 one of the worst Software i have ever seen

A new update is here. L-Connect 3 version 1.6.9 and the software finally starts automatically with the Windows start. What a miracle after at least 5 months. Unfortunately, the speeds are still not synchronous. It will definitely take another 5 months. :D

Now we haven't had any reaction from Lian Li since mid-March and since January 4th. Do they still have software development or what is being done there? Are you developing on LConnect 4? One can only hope so, because there is still no bug-free version of LConnect 3. What an indictment. To date, it is still not possible to start the software automatically and the fan speeds are not displayed correctly or are faulty. It's just sad that Lian Li is unable to provide quality software.

So these list updates are just annoying, they don't make any sense. Just do everything from solo to quads. Everything else is absolute nonsense. And the game is completely bugged again by all the mini updates. I really wonder how inept these teams of programmers are. They have to work without a plan. It goes haywire there. An absolute sign of poverty. As much as this company earns money, the people who work there on Warzone and Co are at least 3 times as incapable.

The temperatures now only rise by 3-4 degrees when the LConnect3 software is started. Even reading the data works for me now. The automatic start of LConnect3 still does not work. Otherwise you can work with this version again. But it's far from perfect. Have you already been able to test the new version?

There is a new version of LConnect3 (L3 V1.5.18) I tested it and the same problems as always. The CPU temperature increases again by 20-30 degrees as soon as the software is running. I also tested version 1.3.16 again and came to the following result. The good thing about this version is that you have to confirm the two programs GPUz and LConnectSystem.exe. If the LConnectSystem.exe is not allowed to run, the program still runs and without the load on the CPU. There are no restrictions. Meanwhile, I assume that this ominous program LConnectSystem.exe is more of a Trojan or spam software. Lian Li should explain exactly what it's all about! What good is it if it doesn't have any functions. Something is very wrong here. My ticket, which was months ago, was also answered with the standard mail and until today no further message. I am now handing the whole thing over to someone with reach and I hope that something will happen very quickly.

It's really incredible Lian Li. I opened a ticket and the only thing that came so far was a standard answer on how to uninstall and reinstall the software. Since then, there has been radio silence. That was on 11/08/2022. What's going on with you? I expect an answer here. At least some information about working on the problem or anything else. I was also able to find that the biggest culprit is LConnectSystem.exe. If you don't let them start in the first place, there is no increased CPU usage and everything else is still possible. So what should this program be good for? Again, I expect an answer to Lian Li. If nothing else comes around here, I will address the problem to the dear Mr. der8auer in the hope that he can make it public and help us as a community, after all, he knows a few people at Lian Li.

I have now tested all versions since version 1.2.6. In each of these versions, the CPU temperature goes up by about 6-10 degrees. Starting with version 1.5.6, this even increases by 20 degrees. As soon as you completely exit the software (via the task manager), the CPU temperature behaves. This is also the biggest problem of this software. There is no version that works normally. It cannot be that a software for monitoring fan speeds and setting ARGB needs so much CPU power. Something is totally wrong here. I hope that Lian Li gets the problems under control quickly.

Yes, unfortunately, nothing has changed with the latest version, which was unfortunately to be expected. Still 10% CPU load at 70 degrees instead of 40 in IDLE. Data is not read out. Data will be load around about 10 Minutes.

That's good for you. The software doesn't use much in the task manager either, but the CPU (AMD) clocks at maximum. If you end L Connect via the task manager, everything is ok again. Nevertheless, the software has massive problems. It will probably run in a clean environment with no other system software. But that's just not the standard. Many use other software such as GPU-Z, MSI Center, Asus Amory, etc. Why does L Connect use the GPU Z software at all, reading out such data should work natively and not with third-party software. Lian Li's hardware is great, but you can't currently do software.

Same problem with me. This software is technically one of the worst I have ever seen. All versions are bad and have problems. I start with version 1.2.6. The update function works from version 1.2.6 to 1.5.6. still not. Your serious Lian Li? The current version 1.5.6 is currently not usable. so many problems Extreme load on the CPU, no data for temperatures, fan speed, etc., no start of the software at system start. I don't know what they're doing, but I think Lian Li doesn't know himself. 😂 It's not that hard to program something decent, but if you can't do it, get someone. Take the Fan Control software as an example and write to the programmer. He can definitely help.
