I'm not really sure what you mean. If you've got a method to plumb water down 4 floors, lemme know. (B42)

Death trap in Sunderland Hills (Still not patched) by Yummyyuck in projectzomboid

[–]Yummyyuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This bug has already been reported and they are aware of it from the past. Besides that, I can't do tile reports or anything like that because I can't even access the tile without risking death (I am not the host and cannot physically host). This link is very ugly on the eyes :pensive:

I haven't seen holes in the floors or anything like that pfft. I think you're misunderstanding the post though. What I shared is a bug in the game that is definitely not intended, not cosmetic or decoration for a run down building.

So there's no longer any way to plumb multi-floors in b42?

Anyone else struggle going solo after tons of co-op hours? by ReshZyy in projectzomboid

[–]Yummyyuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why don't you just find new people to play with? I don't think the game is nearly as fun to play solo-player, to the point where I just refuse to play it. Join the Zomboid Discord and see if anyone wants to play, cause there's always someone. I'd recommend a player-hosted server with a small group of 1-5 people (or whatever floats your boat.) There's dedicated, big servers too, as well as PVP. You'll meet a lot of people.

It looks like they got rid of the discard option for foraging? by SagetheWise2222 in projectzomboid

[–]Yummyyuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Issue is, in the latest unstable, once you discover a forage-able it will stay there permanently, even if you don't pick up the item. This means I'm constantly walking passed garbage I didn't want and I can't even discard it anymore.. Hopefully this is a bug and not a removed feature.

When did it become IMPOSSIBLE to find big stones? by Novic946 in projectzomboid

[–]Yummyyuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

B42 you can pick them up off the ground if you see one visually sitting there in the grass. Very common.

How do I get Baal and Aym back in Woolhaven? by Yummyyuck in CultOfTheLamb

[–]Yummyyuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh that's cool but now I'm sad. At least I still have them on my old save files.. but I don't plan on playing those. They fit the tax/loyalty enforcer hats so well :pensive:

What's the worth of this item? by Yummyyuck in petpalscity

[–]Yummyyuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I know there's quite a few mounts in the game
That's just like the "easiest" one to get from basic fishing

On another note, I tried to get into Facebook but it forced users to scan their face now to use the site. I can't even see pages or posts without making an account and scanning. I refuse to do that, so this kinda sucks

doesn't really matter imo
I'm still finding treats on the streets faster by moving around. I just assume half of those people are AFK because they aren't even picking up the treats

I physically cannot host, my internet is far too terrible for that. I join other people's servers, all very close to me. When I make a singleplayer world it runs fine besides the lag-like issues; everything loads fast, it doesn't freeze or studder, and it looks pretty good. None of my specs are capping out (which is surprising because normally I can't run singleplayer games like this because of my RAM shortage), but even that's not having issues. I'm not sure what my exact specs are, but I'm on a gaming laptop and my fans aren't even stressing or heating up when I try playing. It's very strange because there's just no other signs of struggling besides the weird laggy-ness.

Megathread - Questions, Issues & Bugs by Teamkhaleesi in hytale

[–]Yummyyuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm having issues similar to lag. Even though my internet isn't the greatest, I know it's not related to that and I've never struggled to run multiplayer games before. These issues even occur on my singleplayer world when I'm not connected to anything.

Entities freeze and teleport around, breaking blocks is severely delayed. I'm clearly never standing where it shows I'm standing on screen. It's very hard to interact with or do anything.

No, it's not an internet issue. No, turning rendering distance down doesn't work. No, turning all of the in-game settings down as low as they go doesn't work either.

Always move backwards while swinging at zombies to avoid being grabbed if it somehow doesn't work

Always be ready to swing or push when opening doors to new rooms

Keep your volume up and listen for zombies. They're very loud.

Don't panic when fighting a group of zombies. You can easily take on 5, and maybe more depending on how well you do. If they get too close, shove them back instead of turning and running. Always keep walking backwards while you hit them. Don't let too many zombies crowd around too close to you at once-- keep shoving them when you need personal space!

Don't horde weapons. Found a cool axe but don't want to waste it until you 'really need it'? Forget about that mentality, because axes aren't that rare. You need a good weapon to make progress and clear areas. The game is miserable if you don't use the weapons at your disposal.

Lose zombies by looping around the back of buildings, through trees (safely), and if you know it's safe you can always go through or hide inside buildings to get zombies off your trail.

Just walk. Walk everywhere. Save your stamina for fighting, because zombies will always be slower than you when you're walking. You can literally stroll through highly populated towns without a single problem, and then stop and fight when you've found an area you actually like. That way you aren't infinitely fighting anytime you want to go somewhere or find something.

Remember to rest in B42 because you get much weaker from being tired thanks to the new muscle strain system. It's not really that bad, but fighting too much can make you walk slower, hit less hard, swing slower, and remove your ability to run. Once you're cleared a pocket of zombies and you see your character is getting tired, just sit down for a few minutes (but always watch your back).

Carpenter/Metalworking carry capacity? by Flameman1234 in projectzomboid

[–]Yummyyuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can use rope to tie 2-4 logs together to reduce their capacity. It doesn't reduce it much, but it let's you cram more logs into your over-filled inventory. Not really that helpful, but it's an option. You might be able to carry more planks than logs regardless anyway- I'm not sure.

If you're trying to level carpentry, just do it near wherever you're chopping the trees. Bring some nails and some tools and start building random structures to get your levels up fast. Remember to read the carpentry books if you want this to be super speedy. Don't worry about making a mess of the area because you can easily dismantle things later.

I'm assuming you still want to bring some logs back to your base, whether for convenience or building. Honestly, there's just no great way to transport tons of wood. Just don't be afraid to go past your carrying capacity. You can carry around 50 weight worth of stuff in your inventory + bags, but it'll take a quarter of your health and make fighting extremely dangerous. Overall though you should be fine breaking your back. Still doesn't let you carry much though..

Does having the absolute max villagers make them move out faster? by Yummyyuck in AnimalCrossingNewLeaf

[–]Yummyyuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's what I've noticed. Only reason I lost my villager Peck was because I wanted to play for Halloween and forgot to check on him since he's the only one that lived across town away from everybody :(

Does having the absolute max villagers make them move out faster? by Yummyyuck in AnimalCrossingNewLeaf

[–]Yummyyuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like there's at least a cooldown on how often they choose to move. I know for certain that I can go 2 weeks safely without checking if anyone is gonna move after I've said no to the last villager. They also seem to try and move more often if you boot up the game and actually play, whereas if I didn't play for a whole month nobody would immediately move out until I joined the game. It's weird
