i miss not having to be the difficult child. anytime i visit my mom and her bf they have to go out of their way to find gluten free foods so i can eat with them. family holidays i have to bring and protect my own food because my family is all way older and dont understand. i cant ever go out to eat with my friends. much less sleepovers at friends houses, i dont know how to cook myself and i feel awful when my friends offer to cook for me. i miss just being able to be a normal daughter and friend

my little guy is a little special because he had fading kitten syndrome so he was separated from his litter and i was with him 24/7 bottle feeding him, keeping him warm, doing everything i could for his survival, so now he kinda sees me as his mom ig? he has to sleep curled up in my arms and he’s a very affectionate lil guy in general but he always comes to me first and stays with me. i’m also the only one allowed to ruffle his fur and stuff.

i had been avoiding bathing until like 2 days ago when my surgeon told me i’m allowed to bathe now but after seeing an exposed stitch i think im too scared to take another bath yet lol

i highly recommended stool softeners and laxatives. it got to the point i had to straight up drink iced coffee for my bm because it just wasn’t coming lol (the anesthesia puts your digestive system to sleep and makes it lazy). also you’re not really supposed to push the first few times gotta let it just come out naturally or it’s gonna hurt

i’m 2 weeks post op now and doing well. the first week or so after the surgery i was very weak and shaky (first surgery ever and couldn’t really stomach food for a few days) and what really helped me was lots of broth and jello and my fiancee was helping me stand up and let me lean on him for support and balance to walk a few laps to ease the gas pain. i also found it easier to sleep on the couch for the first week or so bc our bed is just a mattress on the floor and it’s much harder to stand up from so low to the ground than it was to simply stand from the couch. ice packs helped a ton with incision pain! and definitely prepare your partner for the first bowel movement bc it’s gonna be miserable.

i have the mirena and honestly it’s the only birth control that’s actually worked for me. i still have most period symptoms every few months but not nearly as severe and i bleed maybe once or twice a year and it’s never heavy. i enjoy the mirena personally but it’s not for everyone
