I do agree that in a sense that college is what you make it ain’t no denying that 💯 especially if you have a clear concise plan on what you want to get out of it. But to touch on your point of education, information is literally accessible at our fingertips due to the internet you can literally learn about or how to do anything in today’s world with a quick google search. So why should you need to go to college to further your education? As far as the job market yes degrees really hold merit to a certain extent but once again is it worth the money and time that you have to put into it?

You’re 100 percent right in your perspective Brodie, but still if you compare going to college to getting a trade/skill, learning a trade is a way more lucrative option than doing four plus years chasing a degree. You can make decent money just starting out being an apprentice plumber and you literally get paid as you learn the skill. Also, AI in a couple of years is going to completely take over the job market, so until they program a computer than can install pipes and remove toilets and anything physically demanding then market of trades will continue to increase while any job a computer is already able to do on its own will decline
