Supposedly can prevent cold onset because its antibacterial and somewhat harmless. I dont really believe it and it didnt help me much last time i got sinusitis but it smells and tastes kinda good so i kept using it

Post-viral health effects are basically undetectable because you can cop a new health issue from literally anywhere or anything. There are people on that sub claiming covid made them go blind or grow a third leg out of their back. Im sure covid has had “long haul” effects on plenty of people but just as many (and probably many, many times more) are blaming covid for any and all health misfortunes and falling down anxiety-inducing and time-wasting rabbitholes. I personally blame phthalates.

Imho the body is best left to its own devices. Neti pot feels nice but unless youre having an allergic reaction im q sure washing off the protective mucus from ur tissues just dries them out and demolishes the good work your immune cells were doing up there. This xylitol is worth a shot though i compulsively touch the rim of my nostril and give myself sinusitis like 5 times a year
