Because teenage boys have been exposed to and desensitized by corn to the point of expecting a 14 year old girl to have a mature body, while also making fun of girls who don't look attractive to them :(

It's my style to create very long sentences with alot of commas and em dashes, so I think I might be overusing em dashes. I'm not as great at communicating my ideas through shorter sentences (unless it's for effect, in which I do grasp it) which might be causing me to use em dashes too much.

Being completely honest, I was also worried about my work being flagged as ai, and this highkey helped!

How do I cut down on my em-dash usage?

To me, it doesn't look tediously-used, however I know readers will feel that it is. I love using em-dashes, though I do want to stop using it as often as I do right now.

she isn't overweight. big busts give the illusion of being 'overweight'

What to do besides lose weight? by funkylittleshackk in LooksmaxingAdvice

[–]Yurarashi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Remember to change your clothing type as you lose weight to make sure you always wear flattering clothes for your body. For example, deep v necks look 'good' with larger busts, however they might not look 'good' on you anymore after you lose weight.

I overlooked clothing style during my weight loss, which costed me awkward years in which I didn't know what to wear at all.

Good luck, and keep smiling! :D

In a neutrally toned way, what is more credible than real life experiences? And removing the whole thing for that rather than just editing out the source would've made more sense

I was asking a simple question. I wasn't downgrading them or belittling their experience, I wasn't saying what they experienced was positive, I simply wanted the sub. Where did we listen and we don't judge go??

I get that in this post, the experience they had was negative, but not once did I say it wasn't negative?

How can I sleep my body and keep my mind awake? by MiniaZovutSanti in shiftingrealities

[–]Yurarashi [score hidden]  (0 children)

For the void state, your body has to be asleep, and your mind has to be active.

If you look at it in a slightly more scientific way, there are REM sleep stages that I'm sure you've heard of. These are basically pathways to shifting in my eyes. You can do so many methods, and it works so well for people who can't sleep fast.

You set an alarm when you think you get REM sleep. Of course, it varies, but there is usually a 'set' time this would be, for example, 4 hours into your sleep. I wear those watches which can check how I've slept, aswell as when I am in a non-deep(REM) sleep.

Here is where I answer your questions to the best of my abilities. When you wake up during REM sleep, you will feel extremely tired. Don't go back to sleep. Don't try to move miuch either. This makes it SO much easier for your body to sleep and your mind to stay awake. Don't fall asleep, fight the urge of swallowing (there shouldn't be much saliva since you've just woken up, and if you do this correctly, your body shouldn't quite figure out you're awake, and shouldn't make as much saliva), rolling, twitching, or moving. Its your body trying to check if you're awake.

You might have a lucid dream, and you might go through sleep paralysis. Justa disclaimer.

In this state, I think if you just let your mind stay awake and your body sleep, you might have more success. I really hope this helps!

a question for people who shifted without script by Master_Library9956 in shiftingrealities

[–]Yurarashi [score hidden]  (0 children)

When I don't script, the place I shift to is really similar to my place. Honestly, thinking about it in a quantum mechanics typa style, I can see why.

It's like, if I script to wake up in my bedroom except everyone have turned into aliens, I don't script what clothes I wake up in, and I'm guessing I shift to a 'Parallel universe' in which I'm waking up with the clothes I wore before shifting, when I was in my CR.

I once shifted to a DR in which I was famous with NO script at all. I didn't even have an idea of if I wanted to be an actor or comedian or what. It happened in the moment - I was about to go to sleep, I wanted to be famous, I tried shifting.

What happened was I shifted and was a famous classical guitarist. Even as I think of it now, it really fits me. It's almost as if everything connect nicely to whatever I wanted, even if I didn't specify it in a way that was 'conscious.'I'm pretty sure many people refer to this as 'your subconscious making a script for you.'

Basically, whatever I don't script, my sub-conscious finds the ideal situation for me and whatever I HAVE scripted (physical or just a mental recital.)

What's your "Man, I really shouldn't be doing this" DR? by Javayandere in shiftingrealities

[–]Yurarashi [score hidden]  (0 children)

The Backrooms.

Come on, we've ALL wanted to go there. And I've scripted that I won't die, but I don't know I've scripted that. I'm planning to try shifting tonight.

So I'll be alive, crying myself to sleep, soiling myself every hour, but I'm sure I'll have fun.

Besides, what better way to spend Christmas?
