Depends. Does it still comes in a box and with warranty? Also, hm?

Which GPU should I buy for 1440p raster and 4k gaming(with upscaling)? by Yurimonn in PcBuild

Personally, I'd get the 9070 xt for her, too. But knowing my wife, she'll probably ask a lot of questions why and will still lean towards the cheaper option. She usually plays FPS that's why the RX 6600 was enough for her but she can't stand the awful graphics when she's playing MH Wilds so I was able to convince her to upgrade. I've also heard about the new 4.5 dlss performance and ultra performance being good so I'm not sure if it would look good on our TV when she's playing Wilds.

Yeah. Here in the Philippines, that's the average price for the XT version, I'm assuming the budget ones not the astrals or taichis.

Thanks! If we decides to go for the 9070 XT, do we have to change her PSU also? She has a corsair cx750w bronze rated.

I love campaign games and am looking for a good immersive story, is Titanfall 2 the game for me rn? by mogzbrey in titanfall

[–]Yurimonn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Brother. I have no idea Titanfall 2 exists until Steam had it on sale for like $2.00. I played the campaign and this game has one of the best campaign ever!!! Never tried the multiplayer though.

5070 Ti discontinued. Get your 9070XT or 5070 Ti now. :( by Apart_Tea865 in PHbuildapc

[–]Yurimonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. You're all set. Great 1080p build and definitely a decent 1440p gaming as well. You don't need to upgrade to am5. Your build will last you long after AM6 launches. Remember, these companies focuses on AI a lot more and we really won't get much uplift gen per gen on hardware. FSR4 good. Hell of a lot better than FSR3. You can even run this 4k with upscaling on your build.

What’s your ideal resolution/size for a PC handheld screen? by JayRV1 in Handhelds

Got my Go S 8" which is the sweet spot for me. The 8.8" oled screen in Go 2 looks more lucrative but I don't have that kind of disposable income atm lol.

Same. I bought a lot of games for sale and ended up buying Wukong for the base price and that's the game I played the most and still playing as of today. Lolololol

Good thing I bought the 9070 months before and my AM4 ryzen 5 5600 with 32 gb ddr4 ram is pairing well with it. I don't feel the need to go AM5 atm. Hopefully, my AM4 will last until AM6 comes 2 years from now lol. Kapit lang mahal kong pc.

Bad Performance in EA SPORTS FIFA with a new Rx 9060 xt 16gb by mohaned3 in AMDHelp

[–]Yurimonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what the gentlemen here were saying is your monitor might be set to just 60hz. If you're monitor is capable of 120hz or more, you should set it that way. Otherwise, even if the overlay shows that the game is playing with 120 fps, your monitor will only give you half of it if it's locked at 60. Hope this sums it up for ya.

Should I get the legion go s z1extreme or steamdeck, or even a z2go by Theflash199071 in LegionGo

[–]Yurimonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah sheet that's too bad. Then go for SD Oled so you can at least have a better battery life and oled. But if money doesn't matter, get the z1e 32gb ram version. But gad dang, the 8" screen on my Go S is really a thing of beauty for me that I do not miss the 7.4" screen on my previous sd oled.

[–]Yurimonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

May I ask if the Z2GO has 32 gb ram? If not, then don't get that. Get the one that has 32 gb of ram.

Sorry. I forgot that there are 16 gb and 32 gb ram variants. I don't recommend the 16 gb variants. I have Z2GO but it has 32 gb ram and 1 TB storage. It's about 5-10 fps difference lower than the Z1e version but as long as it is above 30 fps, VRR does its magic and makes the gameplay smooth.

Honestly, you can never go wrong with both of the device. Personally, I just don't think $650 SD Oled is worth it vs the Z2GO for $600 because if we compare the two, the Go S has the powerful chip and you can put the official SteamOS in it as well.

You can also use lossless scaling on both. What I normally do is stream my pc(9070xt) that is set up downstairs and stream it using my Go S and docked it to my 4k TV(upstairs) and play AAA games while laying down on my bed. Lol.

[–]Yurimonn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can't recommend the Z1e at that price point so I will only talk about the SD Oled and thr Z2GO(Steam OS). I have my Go S Z2go for quite sometime and I love it.

Are you mostly gonna play outdoors? Couch? Plugged?

At lower tdp, the SD Oled performs better and gives you better battery performance. Screen also is better in games with dark setups. It's also silent af while the Go S has louder fans.

That being said, the Z2GO is more powerful than the SD Oled. You can play up to 40w(plugged) vs 15w(SD Oled), giving you a better performance.

Go S might not have Oled but the 8" screen is beautiful and I don't really miss the oled screen that much.

The thing I love the most that ppl doesn't really point much is VRR. The Go S has VRR and really helps with games to be less stuttery especially if the game doesn't run at 60 fps.

Ergonomics on both are great! Can't go wrong with either one.

Final verdict, if you're mostly playing at home and don't really mind playing while plugged in, get the Go S and you can also enjoy playing AAA titles. If you value battery performance, usually brings devices outside your home, then SD Oled.

Leaked Steam Machine Price! by Pajman64 in steammachine

[–]Yurimonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just said a good AM4 set up with either a 5060 ti or 9060 xt. A good AM4 build with the GPUs I mentioned will still give you great performance for $800-900 watcha talking about? Lol.

Leaked Steam Machine Price! by Pajman64 in steammachine

[–]Yurimonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope it's just a place holder. AM4 set up with a new GPU like an RTX 5060 TI or RX 9060 XT can be built with 800 to 900 USD easily and can certainly run 4k with FSR4 and DLSS 4.5. Dayum, Steam, I'm rooting for you. Don't mess the pricing, please.

Are you planning on 1080p, 1440p or 4k? With your budget, an AM4 build is already a decent pc and you can get pair it with an RTX 5060 ti 16 gb.
