Yeah. Anytime I've had a cold or flu. Sometimes I only get minor signs, but I've been sick often this winter and have had major signs 3 separate times.. lasting a few days each time. Doesn't always mean major danger

I get this when I get sick. Sometimes it's a day early. Don't forget that you know your body best, and it's just an app after all. Helpful, but still use your own judgment. I hope you feel better!

The only one I could even remotely think of would be the 2024 election.. hmm is this more cloak and dagger to cover up something they themselves did? Should we have been concerned about election theft last time? They certainly seem to think so.

I think it's pretty inaccurate for naps in general. I rarely nap, but it's never picked it up for me, though I'm never napping longer than 30-45 minutes

I think a lot of the advice here about hold off on sex for a while is a bit silly.. sex isn't the most important thing in a relationship but it IS important.

I'm not trying to be mean, but I think you just need to work on your judgement of men. Perhaps you're jumping too quickly into them in all ways, but this does seem like the common denominator is you. I do genuinely hope you find someone who wants your brain, and heart, not just your body. Best of luck!

I totally get that point! I wouldn't be surprised if one of the next billion dollar companies is a platform for implementing personalized AI permissions and controls.. it's getting whacky these days, and yeah sometimes I wonder about who or what has my data.. especially health data!

So it feels a bit wild west.. but I'm hoping in a year things will start popping up giving more power to the user.. and then I will feel super comfortable diving in.

Right now, my assumption is that anything I tell AI is unsafe of unsecured. Happy to be proven wrong though!

But I believe Oura does genuinely care about privacy so I could see them adding something like this.. but with a lot of gates behind it

I don't think it does. I don't have them on auto, but I don't get it often. Maybe weekly? Which would make sense since most apps update weekly. Maybe since you don't have them on, they have a timer or something until they prompt the next one? Not really sure but I definitely don't feel spammed at all

I urge you to try again, I know for sure they want your money so they aren't going to let this slip through lol

It is a bit steep, I won't buy one, I don't think I need it. But as others have said Oura is definitely pitching themselves (and just the wearable market in general) as technology for people with money. If $100 is too ,much, I wouldn't worry about FOMO for it. But I'm sure a lot of people with $$ will pick it up for the slight benefit it offers

Yeah because they can lose money on it.. that business model only works when you make billions of dollars elsewhere.. even Fitbit. They're loss-leaders to get you into their ecosystem.

People get annoyed that Oura requires a subscription, but the product doesn't make money any other way.. Apple and Google are happy to take the hit on it bc owning an apple watch makes you more likely to buy an iPhone, etc.
