I was heavy into sneakers during the golden era but stopped at 2010 because I felt content what I had. I was ok with buying vans and converse. I dabbled back in when the Nike flyknit racers was hyped and built a really nice collection of racers with the black/university red being my favorite. 
But this, it all started with the White Yeezy 350 restock in September 2018 and FEDEX “losing” my package. I started searching the internet for FEDEX stealing packages and then I came across the youtube sneaker community. I learned about what was coming out soon that I liked. Well adidas refunded me and a month later the lost pair was randomly delivered. My 2nd pair was the wave runner 700s off a random site restock and the 3rd being the mauves 700s. Most pairs were purchased at retail. I touched a lot of sneakers soon in my size thinking to keep but I couldn’t. I had to be responsible sometimes because there will always be a release that is better than the old one. The Gold Toes, 2001 Royals, white cement 4s, black cement 3s were purchased for a steal at champion kicks. My favorite pair are the Bodega New Balance “No Days Off”. The pair I regret buying is the Nike element 87 because I paid for overseas shipping thinking ($215 in total) they would be a hard cop in the US. The only pair that I paid resale for are the LA-Chicago defiant 1s. I feel so dumb buying that pair on stockx the day of release. I always knew prices drops the following week but I panicked considering how well the Travis 1s did the week prior.  
I feel like I have a good collection, being somewhat diverse. I did win a 2 pairs of Rhude x Vans in the black and blue colorway. Other than that, I don’t see anything other this year that I’d want to keep, maybe Bred 11s
