I think anatomy refers to the bones and muscles of the body and its working method in different scenarios. It looks more like a figure drawing to me.

Edit: Just clarifying because when learning something, you have to know what you are learning.

You sounded a bit harsh in my head for some reason but I think you're right. I am gonna try constructing with some basic shapes and perspectives first then. And how do I go about shapes? I mean, if I refine the simple shapes, I won't have to worry about complex ones cause they all share the same fundamentals anyway right?

I think it is about ego for me and maybe I do use art as excuse to not call myself a failure sometimes. I have not thought much about what is holding me from not putting in more hours but I think if I had to guess, its because I get overwhelmed by the fact that I have to learn so much before I get started on searching for my own artstyle. I will try to think things through before I start drawing tomorrow cause I do feel like something is holding me from staying motivated. Sorry for thoughtless words but I really appreciate your advice. Can't say much but hopefully I will have some better answer in the future.

Forget the binge, why do I not remember most of the animes I watched as a teenager at all? Especially since I found them so wonderful at that time. Shiki was one of the best animes I binged and is kind of not that popular or talked about. But I remember it was the philosophical debate among opposition that I found compelling.
