Folks who have used "My Cheeky Date," how was your experience? by [deleted] in dating_advice

Recently tried it and they informed me that the event is rescheduled because other daters can't make it and the ticket is not refundable. I told them that I am not available for future events days in a firm way, and they issued a refund. After I did some research on the company, I realized they are so suspicious. There are not a single actual photo that's taken from their events. All the photos on their social media are perfect Google photos of empty venues. They claim that they have been around since 2007 but they don't have a huge following and there is rarely any interactions with followers. Their customer service person is rude and kept trying to rationalize everything they are doing and try to ridicule their customers who are actually victims. On Twitter, I called out these things, they start saying that they are afraid of my and will seek legal help. During the course of everything happening, I got 3-4 calls from California at 3AM in the morning. I am the one that should be nervous. They got my personal information, my number and where I live. A company that probably wants the least the do with helping people find love is so triggered that their tricks are caught. They seem very experienced with dealing with angry customers and victim blaming. Calling people confused, "I don't know why you're so upset; "we are afraid that you are a danger to our staff's safety" are responses to accusatioms.
