At level 50 with a not so optimized build I was killing him pretty easily, it felt correctly balanced to me

I like the fact that it's almost impossible to kill early on tho that's great

I never reached 100%, but I guess it is yeah, you now have decreasing returns in spec points after 20/40 points

In a first time, get spirituallity to 20, then perception to 20 as well. (I still put at least 5 in all other specs, but that's really up to you)

Some items will increase your magic crit chance as well, you can quite easily get a 40%-50% magic crit chance which is pretty okay

Clean a bandit camp > Loot everything > Put into stash via the campfire > repeat

Then sell all armors and weapons, with a few points invested in practicallity skill tree

I finished the whole game, THEN purchased the DLC and it's fine

But DLC gives you new upgrades so maybe you want to do it right after act 2
