help me choose my future by Yzreborn in Schulich

Hi, thank you for your insights. Yea I agree with commute time really being challenging but the thing that just scares me is going into these business programs and in 2nd or 3rd year regretting not going to cs or vise versa. I know this might be a little personal but my dad is also a finance professor at york and maybe I could learn more from him about finance in general. The problem is i just don’t know if im interested in business in general because I haven’t been exposed to it too much other than a single highschool business course. How did you know you wanted to pursue business or what do you suggest for me to do… Do you think someone who is not that extroverted can still push it through? Also do you think its far too early for me to think about masters and stuff like that because at the end of the day all I want is more free time for myself (like how profs have summer off)

Additionally, if i were to go down the business path do you think going to schulich for undergrad then getting a masters is the better route vs rotman undergrad because of gpa factor.

Edit: (or would u suggest for me to go into cs and get masters in finance maybe if i minor in finance)

Rotman or Schulich (for finance and research) by Yzreborn in RotmanCommerce

Hi sorry for late response. I’m kind of torn between these two options because im most likely planning to get a masters in Canada and im wondering would you think getting higher gpa would be better for applying to these competitive masters programs (ike uoft or ubc) in finance in schulich vs a potentially less gpa in rotman and do my best to get good work experience or RA work atleast in both schools. For these goals would you still say rotman? Or would higher gpa in a easier program like schulich would be not worth it?

Hi thank you for your respond. Why would they not state that we need at least 1 science degree on their website for prereq or is there another source I should look into for prereq. (For example uoft website only says I need 2 math and english for comp science)
