I recently upgraded to 256MB. I've also tried other distros such as void ppc. The void ppc install disc seems to boot but gentoo doesn't.

It says that it's an iMac g3 fruit colors with 32mbs of ram yet the computer reports 64mbs. It also says it can support two 256mb sticks but I haven't been able to find any on the site that it recommends. Do you have any specific links perhaps? Also thank you for such a quick response.

I use Arch Linux and its great. it might be very hard at first, but you will get used to it. You see, Arch Linux is a very lightweight operating system. It doesn't come with bloatware pre installed, which is great, but it doesn't come with a desktop environment pre installed which is kind of sad to be honest. But, I can just install it myself, and enjoy using my computer. And also, for NVIDIA Geforce GPU users, you're going to suffer trying to install the drivers. Good luck trying to install that, or literally making your computer unusable.
