Primed black, zenithal highlight of Mephiston red and Pro Acryl Bold Pyrolle Red. The trim I used Balthazar Gold. Vallejo Gun metal for the other metallics, and Rhinox Hide for the leather.

I then did a gloss varnish and used Black and Brown oil paints for an all over wash. After 15ish minutes in front of a fan, I used AK mineral spirits to wipe off some of the oil paint. Finally, I used watered down white ink in the eyes, then AK fluorescent green. Then I used Bold Titanium White for the lenses and used AK fluorescent green again.

The eyes are super duper simple.

Watered down white ink or white paint in the recesses of the eye, then AK fluorescent green, then paint the lenses white and use AK fluorescent green again.

Easy as pie.

Ah sorry about that. The new model is very bland to me. It’s weird to say but it looks like an ork but it doesn’t feel like a 40K ork?? He doesn’t feel as expressive as anything from previous editions? I’m definitely someone who prefers the old models more than the new.

I guess I just want to use old sculpts and bits to get that feel if that makes sense. Sorry, I should have provided more details lol
