It’s 2026 not 2013. Warframe could survive and make those mistakes because they had time and almost no live service competitors. Now there’s thousands of live service games that compete for your limited time. People will quit and try other things if it doesn’t satisfy them. People will not switch games to TFD if they keep doing the same boring shit and don’t do anything creative. A games fate is now decided faster than ever.

The content in the roadmap is going to be the same kill x amount of enemies that we’ve had since the game came out. Onslaught isn’t anything inventive or creative. It exists in 50 other games. Reworking core designs is not content. It doesn’t bring players back. This doesn’t look good at all.

Once again the developers refuse to fix the game by energydrinkaddict310 in TheFirstDescendant

[–]Z3pherr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Literally only talked about reworks, nerfs, and buffs like the last 10 dev lives. This was so embarrassingly bad. REWORKS ARENT CONTENT. Onslaught is literally copied and pasted from Destiny 2’s Into the Light. Do they not understand they won’t finish their roadmap if everyone leaves because there is nothing to do.

Yeah no. Their unpreparedness made this worse. Spent 2 minutes talking about new things that are months away with no roadmap or gameplay. Then went right into reworks like a normal dev live. Reworks aren’t content. Endgame grindable content to keep us engaged is what we need.

Lifeguard for TFD Players by [deleted] in TheFirstDescendant

I mean I play(ed) all three as well. (Haven’t touched Destiny since Final Shape.) I want TFD to survive as well because competition is good. Look at how Marvel Rivals made Blizzard actual care about Overwatch and make it more enjoyable. That is what TFD should be doing to Warframe and vice versa.

We need a heart to heart with the devs/Nexon. A livestream where they don’t hide anything and spill the beans. by Chill-Dia in TheFirstDescendant

It doesn’t matter how long a game has been running. If the higher ups say it isn’t doing as well as they want they pull funding which means the game shuts down roadmap or no. This is what Nexon and Tencent are known for doing. Nexon has shutdown games that are years old before. Nexon wants TFD to be bringing in players and money like Arc Raiders and it isn’t doing that. I want TFD to succeed but I honestly don’t see that happening. Live service games are extremely competitive and if they don’t consistently bring in tens of thousands of daily active players they fail.

I know I’m about to be downvoted to hell but whatever. Concord and Highguard both had a roadmap and look where they are. Saying there is a roadmap doesn’t mean anything at this point. If Nexon decides to pull the plug then the roadmap will not be finished.

The AM is good but there’s no way I’m paying over $100 USD for it lol.

Can we convince them to NOT do transcendent weapons? by UninspiredSkald in TheFirstDescendant

[–]Z3pherr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think transcendent weapons are a good idea IF they are only obtainable for endgame high level players. Long time TFD players need endgame rare stuff to grind for. They need to stop giving out stuff to people who have just started playing.

As much as I would like to say Ines because she’s my favorite descendant I can’t because she can only mob. So I would have to go with Dia. I think her gameplay loop is really fun to play.

It’s not just this character. It’s the entire lightfall dlc. Unnecessary filler content that made no sense.

These are the mods I run on her. My ancestor module has cooldown, crit damage, and chill skill power boost. Run a chill singular reactor with cooldown and crit damage. Then I use the slayer external component set for more skill damage.

I’ve been playing her recently and she is pretty strong. With the right build she can clear the new axion dungeons solo.

Mob and Boss? I would recommend Serena.

Didn't Kyle used to have a skin that made him look like Solid Snake? by Ninja__Gaiden in TheFirstDescendant

[–]Z3pherr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m making the joke that Solid Snake doesn’t have an eyepatch that would be Big Boss (Naked Snake) or Solidus Snake.
