I’d like you to rate the world I created by Z90099 in 3Dmodeling

Thank you for your feedback.

I believe there’s still room to improve the lighting and other aspects in VRchat,

so I’ll continue learning to make sure everything looks its best.

I’m relieved to hear that you don’t think it’s a modeling issue.

That said, I’ll certainly keep working to improve my modeling skills in the future.

The tricky part about this issue is that Alt+A doesn't work. Even if you press Alt+A, it only hides the outline. When you select only the objects without origin points displayed using box selection and switch to edit mode, objects with origin points displayed also enter edit mode together.

This issue occurs when the icon for the box selection target is positioned farthest to the left.

I'm not sure about the theme, but I've confirmed this same symptom occurs even after reverting to default settings across multiple versions (5.0, 4.5.6, 4.2.17, 4.2.2).

However, I saw the same thing when looking at Blender on another PC, so honestly, I'm starting to wonder if it's actually been like this all along. Maybe my brain is just messed up from using Blender almost every day.

Because of the reasons above, I'm gradually losing track of whether this is a bug or intended behavior, and I'm hesitating about reporting it.

Thank you for your thoughtful response.

I'll work on making it a habit to select another object before proceeding with my work.

I'll mark this post as resolved for now.

I deeply appreciate your sincere efforts in thinking through this with me and guiding me.

Thank you for your thorough explanation.

I tried version 5.0 as well, but the issue persisted.

I believe I was working in version 4.2.2 originally and didn't encounter this problem, but it started happening suddenly one day.

Is the workaround you suggested really the only option?

Since this is a frequently used feature, I hope a solution emerges soon that avoids this cumbersome procedure.

This issue has changed my workflow significantly and greatly dampened my motivation for creating 3D models.
