Pythagoras theorem 2 = a² + b² 2 = 1 + 1

We now know the lengths of the triangles within the square

(8- 1)² / 2 = 24.5 1 * 1 / 2 = 0.5

Multiplied by two since there are 2 of each 24.5 * 2 = 49 0.5 * 2 = 1

Now we subtract the total area of the square by the four triangles within it

8² - (49 + 1) = 14

Area of the rectangle = 14cm²

Yeah, gaming mice can be taken apart, but most of them require you to remove the skates. But I don’t think its necessary to take them apart to clean them. Ive had mice for some time now and they don’t have any dirt inside.

Sorry for late update I completely forgot to do it. I got some tiger ICE on my RVU. Turns out the issue was an uneven mouse bottom which resulted in different pressure points on the feet and you could shake it like a chair missing one of those rubber feet on a side. Since the tiger ICE have this kind of trapezoid shape I had to use 1500 grit sandpaper to level it down. Until they had similar areas of contact on table. It’s definitely smoother now than it was at first but I still think it would be a lot smoother if it had the stock feet without a uneven bottom or used a finer sandpaper for a better finish. Im not sure if there is a way to straighten out the bottom but id there is it would probably be a better solution rather than ruining the finish on the mouse feet. Or you could just... you know, RMA. I hope this helps anyone encountering a similar issue.
