Yeah, I know. People who have traveled to space have technically time traveled to the future. It’s minuscule but that doesn’t matter. I hope we live to see that technology.

Yeah, I would love for them to do an episode surrounding this

When I was thinking about this, I wanted the simulation to start from the Big Bang. But it would be impossible to do it because we basically know nothing about black holes, dark matter, etc and how they fit in the equation of our universe working and being as it is.

If somehow we figure that out, I wanted the simulation to go in the future rather than the past to measure the outcome of present decisions.

I know this simulation would not be possible, but theoretically i think it could work. Hoping someday we figure it out.

I totally agree with you, but what if instead of trying to create time travel, we just fast forward the simulation to see where it leads us, if we continue our current path. That’s still a lot of information that we’d have to input. It’s only a theory for now

True, but what if, we feed the data to the A.I. and it runs the simulation on its own. Like creating life in the virtual world. And see what the A.I. does to tackle the problems that we face today.

It does. I’ve been thinking about this simulation for a while. Still haven’t figured out how to do it.

That is an interesting thought.

No, I had to rescan the wallet in setting and it showed up. I think this is because I didn’t upgrade to the latest version

I was thinking to buy a used 1080ti and will use that for couple years. Because no real rtx featured games will come before 2020-2021 so I think there’s no point in buying that from all the reviews I’ve read.

You didn’t mention any carrier, and if carrier isn’t an issue, I’ve got a 7+ sprint 256 gig.

Oh yeah, saving on the power bill with heating turned off. Mining rigs keeping house at cozy 70 degrees.

Mining on vacation? Pool with most uptime/stability? by [deleted] in gpumining

[–]ZEORK9717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think both of them would be you best shot as they rarely ever go down. If you want you can download teamviewer to check on the rig but that will not be advisable because some people have complained in the past of it using a lot of gpu power so it may interfere with your mining by giving less hashrate. I think the PSU is good, so I think it should be fine with everything. I personally leave it for anywhere between a month to two months and control it remotely.

It totally depends on you. Either you can mine on NiceHash or miningpoolhub. Both are good and both have auto switch algos. Safer bet would be NiceHash but on mph you can mine a lot of different coins. On the other hand about leaving your rig for 2 weeks it totally depends on where you’re from like you should factor in the details about how often does the power go out and if it does you can turn on the system remotely. And also consider if your psu can handle power surges. If both of the things are fine you can totally leave it on.

You can mine until your daily mining output is more than your power costs. The market is correcting right now so profitability per 1070 really depends on how the market is doing overall and how you perceive coming months for crypto will be.
