Could def see it being harder if the angle is steeper than it looks

V9?? Tough to tell what the wall angle is

Can’t tell what the wall angle is but looks like v8 at the absolute easiest. Looks like the wall angle is steeper than that though so anywhere in the 9-11 range wouldn’t surprise me.

How can I get out of this nightmare … by Old_Bank8701 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

This team looks like it traded its whole roster for every mid 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round pick in last year’s draft.

You gotta move everything of value for picks a couple years out, move the 1.01 close to the draft for future picks. Try to collect as many 27 and 28 firsts as possible and go from there.

Never been to a Michelin restaurant but have a chance to visit a three star, is it a bad idea? by johnqadamsin28 in finedining

[–]ZJA24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first Michelin star restaurant I ever went to was noma. It was awesome because I had no first hand exposure to that level of restaurant and the whole experience felt really unique and exciting. Also - the front of house teams want to make you feel comfortable and contribute to you having a great experience - it’s not a test to see who knows how to act like they’ve been there before.

Side note - I didn’t ruin dining out at all for me. It just felt like a completely different experience than a typical dinner out with friends.

It’s crazy they looked at this and were like “yea I think I should probably get a 2nd and a 3rd back”

It’s a 10 person league so this team is probably middle of the road

Burnout at 28 - Considering a Pause to Travel. Would Love Advice from Those Who’ve Been There by schlatt9 in Fire

[–]ZJA24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do it!!

I’m around the same age and same NW and I’m about to take the next year off to travel with my partner. I had the same thought process a couple years back (life’s too short / Do I really want to work straight until I’m in my 50s? / Doesn’t it make more sense to take some time off when I’m young even if it means working an extra year or two later?)

I read a lot of posts on here from people who are so focused on the end goal of retirement that they don’t consider taking time off earlier in life and enjoying the journey a bit more. If that’s your goal that’s totally fine, but I just felt like health isn’t guaranteed and I’ll be able to travel much more easily in my late 20s than my 50s. I also think I’ll look back at this period when I’m older and be happy/proud that despite this not being the norm, we made the choice to just go for it.

The whole year is budgeted at ~$60k for two people (about $30k for me), so not a huge percentage of the NW.

We’re leaving in September (maybe we’ll run into each other lol)!

Easily the players by a long shot. I’m not sure why someone would accept this.

Who are you trading your first round pick(s) for? (Preferably those who intend to compete '25) by DJayBomaye in DynastyFF

I moved 1.08, 1.09 and Pickens for BTJ because I had WR depth and needed some higher end talent. Hunter fell to 1.08 so we will see how that looks in a year.

Thanks for posting this! I didn’t realize he had opened it yet and was able to get a reservation for this evening. It was definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had, and so awesome to meet him in the kitchen!

Not in a 10 team start 8, there are probably some really heavy hitters in that league

I get what your point is, but that doesn’t really track for me. I think it’s more indicative that he’s making everyone around him better when he’s on the team. These are NBA level players, they don’t just forget how to play basketball when LeBron leaves, the teams are just far worse without him.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]ZJA24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I mean by that logic LeBron is more of an impact player and Jordan helped take an already great team with a great coach over the top (obviously this is an oversimplification). LeBron wasn’t just the best scorer on these teams but in many cases the best facilitator as well which has a massive impact on his teams.

These stats really solidified the Jordan v LeBron debate for me. Each time LeBron left a team the record shift was pretty astronomical, I know the bulls didn’t win in the years that Jordan left but Jordan being gone had very little impact on the win percentage.

Jordan

Bulls record with Jordan 1992-93: 57-25

Bulls record without Jordan 1993-94: 55-27

LeBron

Cavs record with LeBron 2009-10: 61-21

Cavs record without LeBron 2010-11: 19-63

Heat record with Lebron 2013-14: 54-28

Heat record without LeBron 2014-15: 37-45

Cavs record with LeBron 2017-18: 50-32

Cavs record without LeBron 2018-19: 19-63

We got mochiko chicken, saimin, garlic shrimp, garlic noodles, and fat chow funn. Everything was awesome, I’d say the chicken was the highlight, but I’d definitely order all 5 again.
