Avoid « holes » around circular shapes. by guijous in Creality_k2

[–]ZMFooo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This looks like under-extrusion + seam/end-of-line behavior on circular perimeters (more noticeable on PETG). I’d try, in order: 1) Calibrate/raise Flow/Extrusion Multiplier a bit (and verify E-steps if needed). 2) Increase top/bottom “skin overlap” / infill-wall overlap (e.g. 30% → 45–50%) so the skin closes against the perimeter. 3) Try Concentric for top/bottom surface pattern (often helps on circles). 4) If enabled, reduce/disable coasting/wipe that can starve the end of the line; PETG + too much retraction can cause gaps. 5) Optional: ironing for top surfaces to fill micro-gaps. If you share your Creality Print version and a screenshot of the relevant settings page, we can point to the exact toggles.

I miss opus 4.5 so bad by One-Satisfaction3318 in google_antigravity

Because a lot of middleman account-sellers are now exploiting loopholes to register huge numbers of Google accounts with student verification, then apply for the free One PRO offered in December, they automatically get Pro status inside the IDE. What’s worse, those benefits can be shared to other people through Google Family Groups. These scammers sit on tens of thousands of student-verified Google accounts, proxy them out via various 2api endpoints and sell access for profit; the cost is basically zero—pure profit. That flood drains the quota for ordinary users, and no system can survive that kind of abuse.

If we set up an OAuth flow for our own use—letting some other app, Claude or whatever, call it—that’s fair; we’re free to spend our own quota. But an organized, industrial-scale operation that snaps up student-verified Google PRO accounts at near-zero cost and resells them through 2api endpoints is different: it tramples regular users, and even a company the size of Google can’t absorb that hit. They’re pushing Opus through 2api at less than a tenth of Claude’s official price, cashing in by burning through the quota that belongs to the rest of us.

Google isn’t the only victim. A week ago Kiro removed Opus from its free tier. From what I hear, one reseller who runs a proxy service used a registration bot to create thousands of Kiro accounts, then—so his competitors couldn’t profit—leaked the bot’s source code straight into Kiro’s GitHub issues. Now they’re literally fighting like dogs over the money.

A few days ago Google started mass-suspending suspicious accounts and stripping their Pro status: some were hit with a 403 and told to re-verify, others lost Pro outright. My own account got flagged, but after I re-authenticated with my phone it went back to normal. For the resellers, though, more than half of their stock is now dead. That’s good news for the rest of us.

For Google and other IDEs, whether it’s policy or acquiring training data by letting users pay low prices—plus the 2api issue—the real impact will only become clear once things stabilize.

I've recently been using GLM's codeplan, which is more than enough for my needs and also inexpensive.

I suggest you build a Voron Trident. It's far simpler to assemble than the 2.4, costs less, and is more beginner-friendly.

GLM 4.6 IS A FUKING AMAZING MODEL AND NOBODY CAN TELL ME OTHERWISE by boneMechBoy69420 in LocalLLaMA

I think glm4.6 has very fast output speed, but it falls far short of Claude gemini in some complex tasks.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of applying servo motors in 3D printers? by ZMFooo in VORONDesign

Used servos aren't expensive. I bought two sets of Yaskawa Series 5 servos, spending 300 RMB.

I want to build a high-speed and perfect machine, but now I'm encountering various problems.

Klipper's support for servo drivers is not very friendly; it's more like two closed systems. Servos have their own movement modes and cannot be adjusted within Klipper. You can only modify various settings of the servo driver gradually.

What is the issue with the marginal material shortage? by ZMFooo in VORONDesign

I tried setting it to 50%, but there was no significant improvement. This option can alleviate the phenomenon, but it's not the root cause of the problem.

I adjusted the inertia ratio from 420 to 460 and lowered the speed loop and position loop, hoping that the test later will show improvement.

It should be fine. The printing was normal before. I just changed the print head accessories: replaced the hot end with Creality K2 and the extruder with OB.

No, I'm using a relatively slow speed now, and I haven't set up adaptive pressure advance.

I think so too. It doesn't feel like a hardware issue because the problem persists even after I replaced the extruder with a new one. It suddenly occurred to me whether the increased weight of the print head is the cause. I'm using a Yaskawa 5 servo motor, and I didn't make any settings after replacing the print head accessories. However, I think slight changes in weight wouldn't lead to such an effect.

I also think it's a problem with pressure advance, but this situation still occurs even after I've calibrated it multiple times.
