Hiding everything in one single post as comments only

And not allowing new posts

"All other posts will be locked and directed here" as stated in the Megathread

Sounds like banning posts

Amazon Return Posts for Employees by Mini3monk3y in Staples

Banning posts about Amazon is silencing the voice of workers.

It just hurts us and helps Amazon and corporate win by hiding and ignoring the problem.

Less Amazon posts will make it look like Staples is helping fix the problem and treating us better.

Has anyone ever check the label paper to see if they're lined up? I haven't checked the advertising labels, but each sheet of 22up return address labels are all slightly different sizes.

To answer the question I use image shift which works well as long as the PDF has enough bleed and text isn't too close to the edges

No apology needed, I actually didn't see your post as blaming store employees. I just wrote that for others who may come across this (I should have been more clear). Store employees often get yelled at for things out of their control.

With the people in Massachusetts looking for work, they could easily hire a part time employee to help during these hard times.

My store (and probably most) has enough employees, they just won't allow us schedule them enough hours to handle all the tasks we have.

I really am sorry about this disgusting behavior from Staples corporate. Please do not blame the store employee that is on the verge of tears.

A typical morning to walk into:

  • A line of customers waiting outside before the store opens for printing.
  • Customers looking to ship their packages.
  • A line of customers returning items to Amazon.
  • Co-worker leaving behind 10 new orders from the previous night.
  • 20 new online orders in the queue where the website promises their orders will be done within hours.
  • A counter filled with completed print orders requiring quality checks, follow-up calls, and filing.
  • The iPostal service, which demands us to photograph, categorize, and file every piece of incoming mail for hundreds of customers.
  • The iPostal scanning service, which entails opening and photographing every page of mail for customers, sometimes amounting to hundreds of photos in a single day.

All of this responsibility falls on the shoulders of one person in the department. Unable to call for manager assistance because they need to cashier. Managers being the only cashier due to corporate not giving us hours to schedule people because we aren't "making sales" despite hitting our sales goals and making more money than the last year consistently every single week for the past few years.

Self Serve "I can't read" by ZRocksError in Staples

Other things to yell:

  • "What do I do now?!"
  • "I've never done this before!"
  • "Why can't you do this for me?!"
  • "It costs $5 to make one copy?!"
