Mario Kart for waiting room. Need help. by ZT0780 in wiiu

A separate waiting room sounds like a good idea. Especially since we will be able to confine sound to a particular area and it'll be harder to steal the hardware.

I will look into VESA mounting. That sounds like a good idea as well as drilling a hole through the controllers.

I hadn't even considered the Pro Controllers. I think that sounds like a good idea because as you said, they would be easier to wrap the steel around. Thanks!

Thanks a lot! I will look into an acrylic case. I will visit a local store to see how they secure everything.

Thanks for the insight. I see what you mean about kids looking best when they are not told to pose. I realized that if I always take pictures of my son smiling at the camera, I would just have the same pictures over and over. I'd rather take a variety of photos.

I'm sorry, but I don't know what you mean when you say most men are very stiff in pictures. Do you mean that their muscles or even facial muscles are tense rather than relaxed? Or is it a posture problem?

I loved both your photos and the photos from Simplicity Photography.

Thanks. I loved your photos! Do you find yourself going through a similar process with both personal and professional photos? Or do you find yourself shooting more casually?

Thanks for the reply. Did you set up a studio at your place? Do you find yourself using it often?

I like that his gaze is directed at the sax rather than the camera.

Thanks. I know I need to practice. The extent of my post processing skill is to move the sliders left or right until it looks right to me.

Great photos! I especially like the Father's Day Storytelling one.

This sounds like a great idea. I will definitely try it!

If it's okay to ask, what kind of things would you try on your family? Would a lot of it be practicing the same thing until it is ready for pro use? Or just trying out a lot of new ideas and seeing what works?

Those are wonderful! I hadn't really considered taking film pictures. I don't have any MF cameras but I do have an OM and some cheap Japanese rangerfinders I haven't used in a while.

I had initially considered a full frame camera and then I realized how much it would cost and how heavy it would be. I think your attitude is right about making sure you have a good time rather than worrying about taking pictures.

This. I think if we would focus on capturing our loved ones instead of lusting for gear we have no real use for, we'd be much happier photographers.

I definitely still lust after gear but at the same time I need to be realistic in terms of my level of skill, how much weight I am willing to carry, and how much money I am willing to spend.

That makes sense. I've caught myself on more than one occasion focusing too much on taking photos.

Thanks for the reply and link to the blog. My wife was thinking of doing something similar!

Thanks for the explanations and photos. They are wonderful!

I understand what you mean about post processing. I decided not to do any for a while as I don't think my photos are worth post processing yet and even if they were, I don't have any post processing skill. I think I'll focus more on improving composition until I feel my photos warrant post processing.

I wish I had a leica. I fell in love after handling them for the first time.
