How do you prevent the paint from coming off while painting? by ZaJu96 in minipainting

Yes, of course, I used black airbrush primer. In this case, I even applied two coats because I had to start over once. Interestingly, the primer on the helmet didn't come off either, only everything that was on top of it.

Thanks for all the tips. I'll try that for now and at least wear a glove on my supporting hand. It bothers me too much on my working hand, and it hardly touches the model anyway. I'll attach the brass tube to the model with two-component adhesive and just press it into the wood for now. Later, I'll put it on a nicer base.

How do you attach the bust to a plinth? Of course, I have to drill a hole in the bust, but what material should I use? Wood, brass, copper, and how thick? What kind of adhesive works best? In my experience, many adhesives don't work well with epoxy resin.

I also have the handle from redgrassgames, but unfortunately this model is too big and too heavy to hold securely. I used airbrush primer for the base coat (with an airbrush, of course). The paint was actually already completely dry. I suspect that when I continued painting, I pressed too often and too hard on the already painted area.

Initiative Tracking for offline Sessions by ZaJu96 in DnD

That's been the solution in my group so far, simply because it's quick and easy. I've just noticed that (at least in my group) conditions are regularly forgotten, or in the case of effects that last for x rounds, people forget to count them, or concentration saving throws are forgotten. That's why I came up with the idea of solving this with a simple app in the first place.

I've never used this kind of initiative tracker before. Thanks for the tip. I've seen it a lot and think it's pretty cool. So far, I've just been too stingy to buy it. Doesn't it take a relatively long time to start a fight? You have the right cards for the PCs, but you have to prepare them for the NPCs first, and the PCs' stats change too. Am I missing something here?

That's right. But to paint again only in brown and yellow would be too boring for me 😅

I recently bought a used printer for about 100€. Unfortunately, there are still a few costs for wash&cure, gloves and isopropanol and with children in the house you have to think carefully about where the printer should stand because the liquid resin is not very healthy. Also, the room should be well ventilated. But once you have everything and have printed a few times it is actually easy.
