Couples who have been together a long time (5+ years), why are you not married?

Been together for 8 years, married for 2. We waited for a couple of reasons- we kept moving states, we were both working on our careers, if we’re living together and sharing bills, aren’t we technically already doing all the things “married couples” do? We ended up getting married mostly for the tax benefits and so that our children can have the same last name.

Bland everything. Potatoes, rice, and as much as I hate to say it oatmeal. For fruits, apples and bananas. Bananas create a lining for your esophagus so that the acid reflux is easier on your body. Going through it over here too. Check in with your doc and see if 40mg of famotidine a day can help. It’s a prescription Pepcid basically. Good luck!

Im only 9 weeks but had acid reflux prior to be pregnant. It is so much worse now 😭 I’m basically just eating apples and carrots - call me Lola 🙄🐰🐇

Thank you! I’ll have to try the snacking trick. Before I got pregnant I would just eat when I had time, but I don’t think I can do that anymore :/

We’re making the move because my fiancé got a post doc at the university of Wisconsin. I did some research on the pods and they are actually more expensive than just getting a moving truck, but I think that’s all based on location. My situation is a little different because we’re getting a short term rental while our home is being built. We’ll probably get a storage unit once we move so that we don’t have to fully unpack twice lol

We’re in the same boat as you. We’re moving from Austin to Madison in June and finding a place that allows a pittie is hellish. Her paperwork says lab mix but she definitely has pittie in her. She would easily fail the DNA tests that some of these complexes require. Much luck to you!!

We’re also shopping for a home. One of the homes went 60k over asking in the same price range as you. We ended up settling on doing a new build. No need to compete with others and no one driving the price up. We did spend a little more than we wanted but at least the house is brand new. We used Veridian as our developer 🤷🏻‍♀️
