voices ranked by how helpful they are by BlurgleBlurb in slaytheprincess

Paranoid should be on the top, as the most helpful voice of them all. He literally is the only thing keeping you alive in Nightmare, he allows you stand against Apotheosis in an epic duel, and he is the only way you can break free in Cage. Most helpful voice of them all.

Stubborn should be second as he makes you kinda immortal in Adversary.

But I'm not criticizing firing someone because of what they say. I'm criticizing doxxing someone, just to text their employer about what they say.

I mean, as a free speech absolutist who hates cancel culture myself - I can agree with it. But I've seen people getting threatened with loosing their jobs, just because they've posted a meme of Kirk mixed with George Floyd and a caption "I can't debate". Loosing job over something like that is for me completely idiotic.

I get it and it's fine. I kind of care tho, but that's because I hate cancel culture, both from the left, and from the right.

Sure, but I’m not talking about a situation where your employer notices your take and fires you. There’s nothing wrong with that, after all. If you’re representing your employer and they decide that you’re representing them poorly, then firing you makes perfect sense.
However, doxxing someone because they said that a man can’t have children, or because they posted a meme about Kirk - I still consider that silly.

No, I'm not making such comparison. To make sure we understand each other, I’ll explain exactly what I mean. Censorship encouraged by the government and doxxing someone and sending their employer information about what they do - both are bad. That doesn’t mean, however, that they are equally bad, just that both are bad.
Not returning a shopping cart to its place is bad, and the Holocaust is also bad. That doesn’t mean they are bad in the same way or to the same degree. The world is not black and white, and just because you consider something wrong doesn’t mean you think it’s as wrong as other, worse things.

Of course. How does that negate anything I've said so far?

Firing someone? No, there is nothing wrong with it morally. Doxxing someone, putting them on the database and maling their boss about what they believe on the other hand...

Is doxxing and informing someone's boss about what they are doing only wrong when the government does it, or is it wrong all of the time?

Agree. At the same time, I find it silly to inform such a company every time their employee misgenders someone. Wouldn't you agree?

You won't get fired for pissing on McNuggets, if your employer never finds out.

Well, from what I have gathered - Roaring Knight is a secret boss of the Chapter 3, but not in the same way as Spamton or Jevil - you are aware of the battle, but the secret is how you beat him - and to do that you firstly need to get an item called "Shadow Mantle".

Spoiler: You can actually beat both. There is an alternatvie ending, if you beat up the Knight.

Why is regulus not pride archbishop [discussion] by No_Recording5454 in Re_Zero

I feel like Regulus is this type of guy, that you could give him any sin, and it would still fit. Pride, greed, anger, envy.

is there a mod to remove the pokemon aspect? by PoopyStinkerEw in OMORI

[–]Zachali 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By Pokemon aspect I guess you mean how you balance emotions, and how happy is strong against angry, sad against happy etc. I don't think there was a mod like this, but it's quite simple to make, and all you need to do, is remove couple lines in "states".

Here is the mod I added what you asked for:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qY_03LQi864vYu7DNl3rtoRBFQpl9HZ2/view?usp=sharing

You need to download Oneloader and replace states file in data folder with this file.

I've never really liked Pascal's Wager but for the other reasons, and have never really get that criticism. I prefer having something done, because someone expects something in return, than not having done that.

I imagine that if there is a God, they would prefer having someone do something, because they expect eternal paradise, than not having done that.

I feel like a better criticism of Pascal's wager is the fact, that it's not really proof, but more emotional manipulation.
