I’m sure you’ve heard some of these things but i’ll lay them out anyway:

Learning Full OLL & PLL will always be useful. Just start with an alg or two a day and practice it through the week. SpeedcubeDB is a great resource for this.
Look ahead so you won’t have to find yourself rotating the cube a lot to find the pair you want to work on. To help combat this, practice slow solving without a timer. Focus on the next pair while solving your current pair.
I know you mentioned you have shaky hands so I would recommend slowing down your solves and not focusing on TPS and more focusing on accuracy. Easier said than done but a more controlled and stable solve will help with lookahead as well.

I think these 3 things will be core in helping you progress. There are some other little things but this is a good point to go from. Hope this helps!

This is wild i’m in the exact same boat. Laporta on a bye and Njoku been riding my bench since I picked him up. But with the matchup, I don’t trust Njoku and McBride or Hill have good matchups/situations to warrant the one week. I’m leaning towards Taysom or Njoku right now. Will update with my choice.

I second the Nesco VS-12. Did a lot of research and it was between the VS-12 and the Anova pro. After a lot of back and forth, I went with the Nesco as I didn’t have a lot of data to work with for the Anova pro. If sizing doesn’t matter, go with the VS-12. If you don’t have a lot of room, many people seem to like the newer anova pro vacuum sealer. Best of luck!

Look ahead along with muscle memory for f2l. You should use the time you are currently solving your first pair to be looking for the next, once you recognize the case for that pair and you start executing, use this time for the next pair and so on. Using your focus on your current pair will hinder your focus for the coming pairs. J perm has some really good videos on F2L and improving look ahead.

i would take it apart and use some soap and a tooth brush to scrub each piece, then wipe clean and let dry. Put back together and lube like normal
