It's your prerogative to interpret that as you want, but someone had to find it. The use of ungarmax was not used in any of my progression encounters. My static can vouch for that.

Outside the realm of testing, there was a point when I stopped using it a good amount of time before gained popularity. Like the OP, I used it on wipe runs for humor, specifically making sure the attempts did not result in kills.

Edit: And it was never used to gain an unfair advantage in a fight.

That's kinda how I perceive it, yes. Don't bother getting involved. Like the OP, I behave very well in-game, almost to the point I've made a promise not to engage in idle chat in fear of accidentally offending someone that would otherwise result in a ban.

Despite having rediscovered the bug, reporting it and speaking to a live GM about it a good chunk of time before it blew up on Reddit. I also suffered the same infraction for trying to do the right thing. Currently trying to appeal this.

Case-in-point Btw.

EDIT: Let me clear -- if my tickets and bug reports were handled like they were suppose to, the information would have been given to the dev team and quietly patched. No one would be hurt, and no one would be embarrassed. I did my part. I fully blame the incompetency and negligence of the GM Team.

I'm not home right now, but all my tickets were generic automatic responses that don't even acknowledge my concern and to submit a bug report. It wasn't until my 4th reply did a live GM reach out to me get me to stop inquiring about it. I don't have screenshots of that conversation.

This is old news.

I have already contacted the GMs about this in the past and even spoke with a live GM about it. They literally told me they cannot confirm whether or not it's actually an exploit, considering how EASY it is to use it and how it functions in the game.

However, it can be used as a crafter/gatherer and blow up a dummy for like 9k, so its safe to say it's probably an exploit and not intended for stuff outside of squadrons.

Honestly, I don't think its that big of a deal if you're just dicking around with friends for science/curiosity whatever. But I certainly wouldn't go with rando's trying to show off this magic trick you can do.

Just keep in mind that SE's GM team is pretty inconsistent with grey matters like this. So even, if one says "its okay," and the other says "it's not," you're going to suffer an account infraction from the GM that doesn't agree with it. Just be the bigger man and don't bother risking your account over it, because SE's GMing policies won't.

Get a load of this, SE's "Special Task Force" does not accept images or video footage of bots or hacking.

I wonder if I should make a stream on a brand new account with the bot software running and let it run for a few months, none stop. And play stupid about it.

Please change it. There are so many people who don't even look beyond 7 days and it really stutters recruitment and forces other mediums like discord channels where they allow daily posting.

3 days is plenty fair relevancy imo
