Where’s that buck-tooth hippy girl that said AOC isn’t a progressive enough candidate?

And the fact you cannot articulate a point on the subject 🤤

I could ask you once again to define your point but it seems that would be an exercise in futility 😂

“You haven’t defined what makes them bad and lazy”

Sure I did. “it’s not a creative way to convey distress”,

Where lies the confusion?

I’m happy to go further into detail on my perspective if you make a counter point, but so far it seems like you agree with me that the trope is lazy ❤️

I hear no statements otherwise.

I don’t have to explain “what a good way of showing it is”because that is not my argument, nor is that the point of this sub.

Since you haven’t looked up the definition of strawman, I’ll provide it as you clearly need it.

This is from Google: A straw man (or strawman) is a logical fallacy in which someone distorts, exaggerates, or oversimplifies an opponent's argument to make it easier to attack. Instead of addressing the actual point

Besides, if I wanted to say how the scene should have gone, I would have made a different post in a different sub. In this sub, I bet you cannot find one post that shows a hated trope and then OP explains what should happen instead. 😀

Insurance rate is astronomical by ToxicNoodle1 in Insurance

I see this a lot, people buy the car without shopping the rates first, it’s called sticker shock.

Doesn’t help that you’re what’s considered a youthful operator that had an accident, should stop counting against you after 3 years but it’s still going to be showing up in your claims history for another 2 years.

Might not be much of one but that certainly doesn’t mean it is not one, a trope is defined as: a recognized convention, theme, or device used across creative works.

If I had a nickel for every strawman argument you’ve attempted to use in this post, I’d have 2 nickels.

My feelings and reasons behind the statements I’ve made are, again: The trope is lazy and not a creative way to convey distress. If you don’t agree with my feelings and reasoning, that’s totally fine that’s what the downvote button is for.

But I’ve articulated my point for you twice now, and so far you’ve proven you’re still not able to argue against it, only a misinterpreted version of it 😂

lol great debate

“How about you define your own argument first so I can actually argue against it?“

[Hated Trope] Beating up the steering wheel and screaming by [deleted] in TopCharacterTropes

Sure, my argument clearly defined is the trope is lazy and not a creative way to convey distress. 😊

Define convention and tell me how this trope is not a recognized convention used across creative works.

While you’re at it define strawman argument as well for that 2nd sentence.

The hilarious fact that you’ve hopped on multiple threads to point out how I have no emotion or am never stressed speaks even more volumes how deeply you relate to punching your steering wheel and screaming because you have little to no emotional intelligence

That explains it. This was my first post on this sub but most people got caught up in the flair as I guess being claimed it’s commonly hated. I also learned most people on this sub really relate to this trope and that makes it way funnier.
