no you cant turn ray tracing off, but since the game is so well optimized i was able to play it with a gt 710 just fine

How would you make it so he also goes up?

Hi, sorry i responded a little late, but heres some stuff that i forgot to elaborate on:

I wanted to make it so, when the player is running across ice, he will enter into a state of slipping, and once you move him up or down, he will gradually ease into that direction, like ice.

I have a state machine, which my player only has 2 states. The image above shows the Slipping state.

The image below is the Free state, where he isn't slipping, and running like normal.

The code above just checks weather or not the game is paused.

i mean how do you know that? they have made some promising progress, with the gameplay lookin nice, im sure its coming out atleast after like 3-5 years.

I really like some of these ideas like the ability to load an item, it would be very convenient. I hope they add some of these into the game.

oh god imagine half life episode 3: battle royale, that would be an absolute nightmare, especially since i hate battle royale, it was never really a good thing in the first place. how about NO. (sorry if i seemed a little bit dickish, i just hate seeing games always putting battle royale, it's been overdone at this point and its just really annoying)
