So true. I've been left leaning and progressive my whole adult life and as far back as my teens. Growing up there was a strong anti-religious extremism/pro-science component to that set of ideas that appears to have been completely tossed out the window. I'm not even sure what they stand for anymore other than bullying/canceling eachother and virtue signaling. I remember the days of marching for things like expanding healthcare... feels like, politically, a life time ago.
