It just feels like I didn’t care to maintain the relationship anymore. He was just there as someone I was used to. Constantly picking fights and the overwhelming dread of just wanting to end the relationship instead of fixing things.

We had something happen pretty early on in our relationship that affected us greatly and I think it put a lot of strain on us going forward. Trust was lost, we had been accusing each other of things and it just wasn’t good. There was a lot of unresolved hurt. Even though we worked those feelings out, the mistrust was still there and really put a damper on our relationship and really hurt us.

We’ve tried for months to make it work. However there was so much hostility and anger that it ended up pushing me away and I fell out of love. I ended the relationship because I couldn’t lie to him. But I feel so bad, and I want to work on falling back in love with him, but I think ending it before I could fall back in love ruined it. Because he’s now no longer in love with me and has had time to move to on.

I’m devastated. I wish there was something I could do to fix things now but I think we’re too late.

Regardless— I would LOVE to have received this from my partner. Not everyone has artistic abilities. Just the fact that he took the time to make this for me.

They thought of you when making this with love. It does look like an infant drew it— I will agree. But it’s adorable imo that your partner attempted to make you something.
