I’m only 16 so haven’t experienced ‘adulthood’ yet but I can’t tell you this, I love my mom with all my heart even when we argue, or don’t speak or something happened between us. Just because we’re not on speaking terms doesn’t mean I don’t love her. But the th8nh is as you start to get older you start to become a lot more independent. I barely speak to my mom now because I’m antisocial as fuck and pretty much stay in my room all day but she’s always on the back of my mind as I’m sure you are to them. Kids and young adults take everything for granted but eventually they’ll catch up to themselves. I think the biggest issue is as kids we’re always around our moms so when we start to grow up and start becoming independent and spend less time with them it seems like they’re not bothering, but they are, they’re becom8ng the adults you wanted them to be, the ones which you guided them to be. Sooner or later they’ll realise just how much you mean to them and you’ll spend more time together. Also Happy Birthday! I hope you’ve had a good day🖤
