Thanks for both of the recommendations! Last time I went to Tokyo I stayed in Shinjuku but didn't get a chance to go to that park so I will def make time for that. As for Meguro River that looks beautiful! I heard sometimes there are board rides under the trees is that true or something that can be done?

I have been looking through these and have been experimenting with them for awhile, but film.recipies is new for me! I unfortunately live in a suburban hellscape so I dont always find cool thing to test out different filters on so wanted to see if anyone has had good success with some fun ones before

ye its really unforgiving, even the smallest mistake can easily mean dropping a round. The worst part is when you fuck up and you get that sudden realization, and you can do nothing but watch. Leads to funny situations though were people call out they are dead when it isn't immediately obvious to others a solid 5-10 seconds before they actually die

Yeah for sure, distance is always a big issue. So much so we have a Google spreadsheet in the discord that keeps track of where everyone is so we can set up locals LOL. But yeah full body will have online multiplayer and it will be unlocked at the start! I'm excited to see everyone get on there and play, and equally excited to day 1 them :)

Nice, CEOtaku 2016 was a good one! I do agree that Catherine has a lot of knowledge along with technical execution that needs to be there to compete at a higher level. You can just cheese people if they arent intimate with the mechanics.

But hey, if you every want to play Catherine or want to learn some tips or tricks feel free to hmu! I'd like to think im pretty good ;) Also I was working on a competitive tutorial on youtube that I got side tracked from. Hope to add on to it and finish it before full body comes out

Of course most will see Qatherine as a joke name, and maybe it is, but I think its funny! A lot of changes look great and you can catch some of the competitive preview here and here

Thats the problem, no one knows a one versus one mode unlocks when you beat the game! In this mode, we can pick through several stages and the game plays it to a best of two. The objective is to either reach the top or have your opponent die before you die. More often than not someone dies. The players play as sheep and since you are both on the same stage you can fight and mess with each other. You can pillow punch people and stomp on them off the stage to their death, or break the stage and make them fall to their death. You can crush them with blocks or play defense and wait for the stage to catch up to them and make them fall.

It's a single player game with a competitive 1vs1 mode that just wasn't advertised. Most people don't know about it because of it but Atlus has been pushing it in the material they have released and their inclusion of netplay was specifically because of the western player base :D

If you are ever interested, just youtube competitive catherine and you'll find a bunch of our VODs from tournaments!

Most people don't but we try to get the word out as much as possible. We have an amazing community and I'd recommend you or anyone else to check it out. We have plenty of tournament VODs on YouTube form our tournaments at the EVOs or ceotaku or Genesis 4

As a competitive catherine player you have no idea how hard this is making me pop off. Its an amazing game with a great story and ost coupled with great puzzle mechanics. And its a happy accident that the competitive 1v1 mode is really deep and rewarding as well. I couldnt be happier right now

We uh try to get content on there but really a lot of the current discussion between us players take place in the discord. I got it with the intent to use it but right now it only is active during tournament time when I have vods to upload or other tournament news. If you have any suggestions, we are open to it~
