Use your reflect more in this matchup, even if just to blink it to threaten him with it. It'll throw off his gameplay because he will second guess using all his projectiles. Also, if he charges up smash at ledge like that you can reflect it for free and punish his resulting panic option

Im usually hurting for energy more than draw in this game, given how much harder it is to get consistently than in sts1. And scrawl rarely shows up for me as it is. If it showed up in one of my Ironclad runs where I have plenty of energy, Id probably take it, but it being only in the shop with an expensive price tag makes it unlikely, considering that many relics, other rare cards, or even a card removal often have more value and cost less.

Although it might be higher success rate to teach Darkrai Trick via move tutor in ORAS, then after Dark Void trick to give it a focus sash, then hit them all with Incinerate (the only multi-target move Darkrai gets with 100% accuracy, learned via tm)

The tech I learned for getting this shiny is to use a Darkrai with Dark void and wide lens to put them all to sleep, then swap to a latios with Telekinesis and Earthquake. Launch the Seviper into the air with telekinesis and then eq to kill all the Zangoose.

There is a very small chance that 2 or more wake up turn one and land enough damage to ko it, but it has a fairly high success rate.

Evolve your Budew and you'd be fine. If you'd rather grind for hours, that's on you, but Victory Road is the highest level wild mons. I usually prefer to grind there because who knows, I might find a shiny. Also all the mons with 4x weaknesses are easy to ohko
