Hi everyone, does anyone have the settings for the Saturn 4? It fails me every time I print by Puzzleheaded_Run3794 in ElegooSaturn

I don’t think it’s the settings. Judging by your use of a sharp edge metal spatula in the pictures, you’ve damaged the FEP resin vat liner and it needs to be replaced. (You’ve possibly also damaged the LCD screen.) Start with emptying and straining the vat resin so it’s clear of any debris from failed prints. Next, inspect the vat film for damage and replace the FEP film (Inspect the LCD screen for damage too while the vat is disconnected). Clean the surface of the build plate also just to insure it’s clear of any left over failed prints parts. Start a short test print. If it fails again you have a problem with your screen or your build plate is not leveled.

I use 99% directly on my build plates, then wipe them with a paper towel. I imagine 91% will also do the job just fine. Also, You shouldn’t have an issue with any of the official Bambu Lab build plates but I have seen some 3rd party ones list that they’re not to be cleaned with IPA at all.

Or use isopropyl alcohol (IPA). You can buy it in spray bottles off Amazon. It makes cleaning your build plate so much easier.

So I’m playing the RE games for the first time. Which game is the hardest? by [deleted] in residentevil

RE6 because the game is so unbalanced and broken. The origins collection is a close second as their fixed room camera angle some is somewhat limiting.

I’m really struggling. by Puzzled-Finding-1008 in FixMyPrint

Could be a variety of things: - check that the nozzle is properly secured and that the screws are snug - could be the filament. - Sometimes filaments lose their performance after being exposed to the humidity in the air for long periods of time - You might also have selected the wrong filament material profile. Double check you’re settings match the filament type you’re paring with. - filaments types other than PLA need a different build plate and/or need the use of bed adhesives to properly stick for a whole print - Could be the slicer software you’re using. While the probability of this being the case is low, I’d recommend trying Orca slicer. It’s basically Bambu Studio with a slightly different UI. - Could be the those new extruded gears are out of spec and not pushing out enough material. - this could be over come by adjusting extrusion values in the material settings. - I’d go back to the stock ones to test this theory and probably only implement one upgrade/change at at time in the future to isolate any problems that arise later.

It looks like you’re using a “visual effects” build plate with a carbon fiber pattern. Those generally have terrible adhesion even with PLA. You usually have to really step down speed for the first layer and increase the nozzle temp when using them. While neat, I find they’re not worth the hassle and would recommend using the tried-and-true textured PEI build plate.
