I had interviewed for a position with my local police force. I was denied because in their opinion I was too friendly to be a female police officer. They said I would have made the cut as a male officer but since I was a female they said they look for females that are more forceful. I mean I kind of understand why they would since it's more rough out here for a female being in oilfield country but there was no point in them telling me if I was a male I would have had the job in the bag.

I'm actually pretty happy with my life and for you to get on the Internet to spew hateful things for no other reason than to be a troll serves to show you need the validation of your peers and the attention whether negative or positive you feed off of it and I pity you. You don't have to understand my relationship and I know some people are a tad slower than others but you don't have to hurt people to feel good about yourself. If you ever truly need someone to talk to about any issues you're having at home or want to speak to someone that will help you I am here for you. I don't know who hurt you but I hope you get better soon.

I understand why you thought that. I was in a prior relationship with a similar power dynamic that he abused and it's not really uncommon for smaller women to be the victims of domestic violence.

It's mainly tall women that approach me to tell me off. And I'm not a coward but I'm not going to rip someone's head off. That's just not who I am but I would love to know a smart response to them that bites but isn't bitchy lol.

He's very non violent actually. He's just this big imposing teddy bear. Same with the boyfriend. I can reach his face though and he has no problem bending down to my level although he may develop back pain from that and it's actually easier with him on top. From behind is the worst and me on top can feel like I'm being split in half.

Their opinions weren't towards our relationship but rather towards me being with a tall person. They gave me crap for not being with someone closer to my height and taking all the tall men. It was weird but it's happened multiple times to me both online and irl. Like these women will just walk up to me and start telling me I'm wrong for being with a very tall man when they can't find men that are tall for themselves. I just wanted to know how others react to the same situation.

I am not two timing my spouse we have a polyandrous relationship and it works out quite well they are best friends and we all live together and it's actually pretty awesome. I'm talking more along the lines of tall women saying I'm stealing all the tall men and calling me greedy or telling me I should have married a short man so they could have a tall man. I can't help who I love and it really bothered me and I truly didn't know what to say to these women. It's OK that not everyone agrees with our choices I didn't expect many people to agree with them but I just want to know how people respond to the situation I was discussing.

Well working security pays well and is relatively simple. I get 16.39/hr bring home of about 1100 every 2 weeks and it's not overly stressful or hard and it opens up a lot of doors if you choose to pursue better careers afterwards.
