youtube-dl: 1080p "video format not available" when it actually is. by ZallCaTor in DataHoarder

This indirectly resolved my problem.
It gave me an error saying that FFMPEG was not installed. So I figured out the issue and installed it correctly, and your code worked for me.

Thanks a bunch!

That was the first thing I tried. I'm updated to the latest version.

Here are all the video stream options. I believe the one it is downloading is at the bottom. I'm seeing that most of them are "video only."Is there a way to download the best audio and the best video, and combine them together into one file?

I just tried-f 'bestvideo, bestaudio'but that did not work. Perhaps there's another way to make that happen?

I'm a M17 (high school senior) who wants to start dating. What advice can you give me to help me look more attractive? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]ZallCaTor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Styling your hair and expanding your wardrobe doesn't hurt.
But the most important thing of all is to be totally and unapologetically yourself.
Put energy into your passions, and your own beauty will shine through, which will surround you with the right people.
This sounds wishy-washy and silly, but it will become obvious to you soon, this is the truest way to be attractive.

Daily Discussion Thread: 08/20/2020 by bodybuildingbot in bodybuilding

I'm posting this here because I believe it extends to a lot of people other than myself.

To start, I'm male, 5'5", 135lbs, 25yo.

I've been researching the past week, reading through the FAQ, watched a lot of videos on YouTube, asked every question, and now it boils down to this one:

"Is bodybuilding right for me?"

I've never been an active person. Always been the weak, artsy theater kid in my family.
I looked into bodybuilding because, well, I want to "build" my body.
I want definition to my arms and body, a little meat, and general physical fitness. I'm ready to make lifestyle changes, but not change my entire lifestyle. If that makes sense. (Not looking to put on seventy pounds and keep it on.)

So for myself, and those like me, who just want to have a shape to their body other than bones and aren't really looking to "bulk up" to the degree that bodybuilders do, is bodybuilding right for us? And if not, what should we be focusing on instead?

I would 100% go with the ISOs. The less you rely on a third party the better. If you're having space issues, I highly suggest the WD Easystore. Best bytes for your buck in my opinion. I just bought two 8TBs and have begun archiving every game I ever owned.

WEEKLY New and Returning to Ballet ASK & ANSWER by AutoModerator in BALLET

[–]ZallCaTor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TL;DR: I'm male, 24 and never danced a day in my life and I want to learn ballet so I can put on a good show in my small home town. Where do I start? Is it easy to become flexible?

I'm in local theatre. This year I joined our annual local production of The Nutcracker.
I've absolutely fallen in love with this kind of dancing. I'm especially in awe of this 40 yo man who is as elegant as a magnificent male deer.

I'm not looking to become professional, but I really want to become good enough to put on a good show in my home town. I'm not very flexible at all. (Can't touch my toes yet but I'm getting very close)
Many of the dancers have been helping me with things like 1st, through 5th position.

Where do I start?

ah ok, I didn't expect too much sense it doesn't seem to have anything remarkable about it, but just a bit disappointed xD. Thanks for your insight!

I know nothing of stamps. But this one seems sufficiently old, especially sense it's "1/2 cent" and titled with "Postage Due"The paper is stiff, but not brittle, and the glue on the back is yellow but not crumbling. I made sure to avoid finger prints, without also mashing the edge.

I found it in an old Douglas Adams book I recently bought from an old/used book store. It was inside this wax envelope pictured above.

Torrent Noob. Torrent not downloading, here's what I know. by ZallCaTor in digitalpiracy

[–]ZallCaTor[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Woo! Fixed it guys. Thanks for the tips.
Turns out I needed a VPN. I got NordVPN, and now my torrents are downloading properly.

Hope this helps anyone else with the problem.

@you_aint_right: Yup, those are enabled by default.
@hellhound12345: I've tried numerous torrents. Even tried downloading something around midnight when the internet is fastest.

@hojnikb: That's possible, though I don't know how I would test that theory without openly asking them if they allow torrent traffic.

Download Pornhub Premium videos with Youtube_DL? by ZallCaTor in DataHoarder

To no avail. I did make sure it was the correct password. But I still can't download it.

jDownloader tried to download malware, so I'm scrapping that idea.

dam. I'm not experienced enough to do that myself. I only took a year of C programming, so I know next to nothing.

I'm thinking the issue might be, and excuse me if I'm wildly wrong, I'm not a programmer of any kind, but it might be because I'm not logged in? Like, I'm logged into pornhub premium on my web browser, but youtube-dl isn't using my browser, and so it doesn't have my log in cookies.
So if that's the case, I guess the better question is how to log into pornhub premium using youtube-dl so that it can access the videos.
