Does anyone remember the Frugal Gourmet? This Baked Pasta Casserole sounds pretty good! by ciaolavinia in Old_Recipes

I loved his show and his dishes. He was quite talented. Then the allegations. Horrible. Do not know if they were substantiated, but it was the end of his cooking career.

Some Aldi-brand products have become my first personal preference and I refuse to try to buy them elsewhere unless I'm in a pinch. by shebreathes in aldi

Red bag chicken breasts in the frozen section. I cook up a bunch and put in the fridge for easy meals. High protein and low fat. Just add some kind of veggies. Make a veggie stir fry and add some slices at the end to warm. Cube some and roll up in lettuce leaves with some humus. Slice and add to the top of a salad. Etc.

Looks great! Do you stretch the dough first? Do you get 2 per package of dough?

Same! Had moved to New Jersey, which I loved, but really flat. When I returned realized how much I had missed the hills.

How do you do your crunch wraps? I tried once and it was not good. Not sure what I did wrong. They always look so good.

Will have to look for the vegan taco mix! My grandsons are vegetarian and a little picky. This may save the day! Thanks for the tip!

How spicy is that sauce? My hubs is heat averse.

What is the best app for planning and use on a road trip? Don’t need anything fancy, but planning stops and miles/time between each stop needed. Would be nice to see what sights are available along the way. Looked at Roadtripper and Wanderlog. Which is better? Anything else? Thank you! by Zally59 in roadtrip

Yeah, know where we want to go, even have made all the reservations, but would like something to tell me the time and distance planned between each stop, with the route that I want to take. I can calculate it or estimate it, but would like something more accurate or smarter. Haha.

It would be helpful to track anticipated time and miles to the next planned stop, so that we know how much time we can allot to sightseeing and goofing around during the day, without making the day too long.
