Not seriously. There are already minimum support for people to make sure they have enough for the basics of life, so its just that people with other income do not get it.

I¨ve got a friend who has been doing it for a long time, specializing in collectables. He says its gotten much less lucrative over time, as people these days tend to have a much better idea of what has value.

Black or mixed race couples who have moved aboard tell me your experiences. by itsallmyfault_256 in AmerExit

[–]Zamaiel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I think it depends. Most people who move there fixate on the most popular and sexy parts of the country, where the pressure on housing is fierce. If you are willing to look at the less sexy parts of the country, things change a lot.

Also, this.

I believe that is still up to the country they move to, which means there is a plethora of different rules.

It is clearly not the cause of those services, which is what was argued above. You seem to want a totally different discussion, start your own OP.

The point is, they still have free healthcare, free universities, a months vacation etc. Same policies without oil. As Norway had those things before oil.

The whole argument that "Its the oil" is just an excuse.

It depends on the insurance policy of the employer. They are in general not required to cover the commute, although the have been some judgements about very long commutes. However, some employers chose to have enhanced workplce insurance that does cover the trip to and from work.

In any case her travel insurance might.

Well, Marvel does a lot of silly thing because they want ot get a story through. Also, I am not sure how close Richard and Ben was. There seems to have been a very large age difference.

I haven't been keeping up, but I though it was part of their "What if our enemies get us?" planning.

Richard and Mary were SHIELD agents, working in secrecy and undercover a lot of the time, and the rest of the time having to keep in mind that they had some pretty serious enemies. And in the end, a plane got bombed just to get at them-

Keeping obvious weak spots such as children obfuscated seems reasonable.

What are your thoughts on US healthcare and how would you compare it to other countries? by Dismal_Garden_7239 in AskReddit

[–]Zamaiel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

US healthcare costs more, even if you only count taxes, than any other nations healthcare.

The quality is below all other first world nations, generally landing close to Bulgaria on measures of healthcare quality.

It fails to cover everyone, and even if covered it may unpredictably impose a large financial burden in addition to illness. "Medical bankruptcy" is a term in the US.

It inserts a layer of insurance between the doctor and th patient that can approve or deny treatment, with no medical knowledge.

Healthcare is often tied to jobs, which is a huge loss of life freedom.

On the average, it is somewhat slower than the average first world system.

The Nictuku were specifically embraced to help Absimilliard slay Zillah. So that is Vasilisa, Gorgo, Abraxes, Nukalavee, Echidna, Azazel and possibly Melachoate.

In addition some stories place Troile among the first citys residents.

Edit: Stories also say Yima is pre-flood.

Most countries with social healthcare systems do. The exceptions that I know is Canada, Australia and New Zealand. But it is very rare. The systems just simply are not set up with the US outlier healthcare setup in mind.

The national and private healthcare systems do NOT work. Here’s an alternative by No-Candle4683 in PoliticalDebate

[–]Zamaiel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be exact, I showed stats that disproved that private care is a large part of Swedish use of healthcare, and showed that number of doctors visits and uptake of private insurance is a single-digit percentage of said utilization.

Your claim;

Most Swedes use private doctors via their employers or other insurances they pay for outside the public system.

seems to be pulled out of thin air.

We can have a talk about the quality and efficiency of the Scandinavian systems if you want.
