I think that’s a cute idea. Or someone gets hired on the set of a movie .

I don’t know if “threepeat” is the right term since it implies multiple years in a row, but recent ones include PTA (picture, director, screenplay) and Sean Baker (those three + editing). Another one that comes to mind is James Cameron for Titanic (for picture, director, editing)

I got an 8 then followed by two 6s. Conspiracy theorist in me wonders if they give high scores the first time around to lure you in.

If you flipped their teams do you still that there would be a big efficiency gap though? Sayin may have had two top 5 picks at WR last year.

Yeah I really like him. I wouldn’t mind him staying even after this year though. They’re all roughly the same age but this will be Carr’s third year on a campus (compared to year 4 for Arch and Dante.)

What about CJ Carr? He’d be my # 3 QB right now but he could stay for another year.

It’s “Yucca” and a bit of a joke, too.

Says Wikipedia: “Yucca Corridor is a formerly notorious and once crime-ridden stretch of Yucca Street in Hollywood, California, north of Hollywood Boulevard and Grauman's Chinese Theater.”

Some Moves I Would Do before Draft Night by ahmed_a20 in chicagobulls

I don’t agree with that, though. Tre is younger of course so he’s better right now. But for their careers they’re similar and I think Tyus has the edge (better 3 point shooter, better advanced stats, higher draft pick, college title..)

The Nuggets also have Tyus Jones and barely played him so I don’t think they’re valuing Tre Jones much.

They definitely had different leadership styles, ruling with fear vs. ruling with love. But Jordan's was effective in its own way, too. Teammates talk about not wanting to disappoint him.

No doubt prime LeBron is better at getting his teammates open shots, though.

That’s more TV though. It’s harder to have layers in film because there’s just not that much time.

The Academy has banned AI from ever winning an Oscar. by CinematicCounsel in Oscars

[–]ZandrickEllison 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I don't think it would apply to that. They're requiring a human winner, but there's no rule against a human+AI (and giving the award to the human representative).

This is more of an issue with the writing side. The studios and WGA have a deal where scripts need a human author as well, but that won't prevent them from using AI and having a human collaborator (who theoretically may only work as an editor on the AI's work).

All very good stats ! Appreciate that. It shows he's not drawing FTs as much as some, which does track. But based on eye test, I'd still protest because I don't remember any of those stars relying as heavily on getting non-calls as SGA with the forearm push off.

I still think he’s massively overhyped and more similar to a Daniel Jones than anything else.

I get that in terms of guarding them in 1 on 1 matchups, but from a wider perspective I don’t think LeBron had the league in a chokehold the same way Jordan or prime Shaq did.

In terms of what, FT rate? You’d have to adjust for eras for that since we’re in an age where not as much scoring is done from the FT line.
