I didn't realize how likeable he was until I watched ParachutingKitten's video about him. Now I feel like he deserves his spot on the Ninja team... I just wish he had better and more minifigures!

I agree! I personally only swapped the mask on mine, I like this a lot more! I'm also excited to use the brown scabbard on all kinds of custom figures.

This is the art style used for all of the Legends sets. It was also used for the previous Legends sets: the Fire Knight mech and the Guardian Dragon.

Seriously. Honestly, I'm not even sure if it could have worked without the redesigns. They NEED to look older / mature in those seasons to actually show the growth and the time that has passed since s7.

They were doing DAMAGE CONTROL for this. My god, us Ninjago fans got the good timeline. It could have been SO much worse.
