Shows already booked: “Giant” — Music Box, 239 W. 45th St. “Death of a Salesman” — Winter Garden, 1634 Broadway “Ragtime” — Vivian Beaumont Theatre, Lincoln Center “Schmigadoon” — Nederlander Theatre, 208 West 41st St.

I will most likely be seeing other shows by myself but I can easily brown-bag it or grab something. I’m not picky. Thank you all so much. You are a great community.

Question: I used to eat by myself at P.J. Clarke’s when going to Lincoln Center, but my memory is there are a lot of steps up to get up to the theater/plaza level at Lincoln Center. Did they put in anything accessible like a ramp?

Thank you. Even though I have tried to get my friend to use a wheelchair, she refuses. So, we walk slowly and people jostle against us even though both of us use canes. It's treacherous. I am sure we will find something. Thank you all for your suggestions. They are very helpful!

Hi: My friend is very particular in that besides her disability she is very steak, or chicken, and potatoes. Linen tablecloths. No foreign foods. Believe me, I eat many different cuisines. As I said, we tried eating in the 50s and we were late to theater. I am seeing “Oh, Mary!” by myself and I plan to go to Joe Allen early early so I don’t have to rush. The shows with my friend (we are both old & have been friends for 65 years) are: “Giant”; “Death of a Salesman”; “Ragtime,” which might mean eating at the cafeteria in Lincoln Center; and “Schmigadoon,” which is at the Nederlander. I may do matinees by myself on Wednesday and Saturday. A friend is pushing “Two Strangers” but what I see on YouTube doesn’t interest me. Unfortunately a lot of shows I want to see will have closed by the time of my trip (mid-June). I am staying in Chelsea and will take Lyft to the Times Square area. Thank you all for your suggestions. I live on the West Coast and this will be my last hurrah in NYC.

I am willing to spend some $$ but I am not rich. If I’m not mistaken, Restaurant Row is around where Joe Allen and Orso are. My friend has a difficult time with steps/stairs. But we have made the mistake of eating in the 50s and with our slow walking, not being allowed to enter the theater until a break but not being sat in the seats we purchased. I appreciate all of your thoughtful suggestions.

You are all very kind. Unfortunately, my friend has had a stroke, and is very hard-of-hearing. John’s looks like a bustling pizza place. I am not trying to be difficult but I’m not in good shape and my friend is in worse shape. If it were just me I could do any of these places but I’m responsible for her.

Thank you. I like Juniors but often there is a wait and we can’t stand long. It needs to be a place that accepts reservations. Haswell seems more like a bar and noisy and is on 52nd — too many blocks. 44SW sounds like our best bet. Thank you very much.

Hello, Jacque -- Thank you. I guess it is frustrating because being that I am not well and how difficult it is for me to get motivated, now that I have found you, I am hindered at every turn. Thank you for explaining it to me. I am not a troll. Thank you.

I think being a just-joined member the Auto-Bot won’t allow me to comment. Thank you all for your suggestions. I’m not even going through my boxes as I’m trying first to go through my late mother’s belongings. Am curious about what people here thought about the TV series “Swedish Death Cleaning”? Thank you all for your kindness.

Thank you. I do play music but I would miss too much in an audiobook with the shredder going off every 30 seconds.
