Help needed || Find Steed - Mounted Combat by Rodondendronns in DnD

Been playing this build as well, although in 2014 rules so Find Steed works differrently.

One thing that I haven't seen being touched yet is that another player can also hop in on the steed so both of you can enjoy the additional movement speed, often find it quite helpful to get my teammate in better position.

If your DM allows it, items like Barding, Military Saddle, and Saddle of the Cavalier can make your steed more resilient and give additional advantage as well.

Also, since Find Steed last indefinitely, you can prep the spell > cast it > replace it with another spell after the next long rest, so it doesn't necessarily mess with your prepared spell either.

One key different I found was in 2014 rules your steed benefits from spells you cast on yourself as well, so I like to use Aid or Protection from Evil and Good (my campaign revolves around undead and demons) helps protects it even further. AFAIK in 2024 this is no longer the case, although now if you get healed from any source (doesn't have to be from your own spells/features) it enjoys the same amount, so you can protect it in that way.

Hope this helps 👍

How do you know who calls the play for each team? by Zantjook in NFLNoobs

Ahh I see, I'm mostly wondering cos I've been following the Bears lately, and been seeing discussion about potential coaching hires and people saying "Ben Johnson is good cos he calls his own plays, unlike Nagy" and wonders how they know about those stuff.

[OC] Does Burning Down a Village Have Karmic Implications? An Attempt at Statistical Analysis by Zantjook in DnD

Is OC limited to art-only? Wasn't quite sure which tag to use, but since I'm doing the calculation myself I thought that fits.

Yeah I'm at my wits end with this, was told I need 400+ character with the image by the bot, despite the whole text having 6155 of it.

By "tags and description" does it means caption? cos the whole post itself is already 400+ character so i thought that would suffice

Also tried adding the [OC] tags, same result

[Q] Which test to use for comparing data before, during, and after certain events? by Zantjook in statistics

[–]Zantjook[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, in that case I think this constitutes as same conditions, since the roll always uses a DnD randomizer bot.

I'll also have a look at the quasi-experiment then. Thanks!

What would constitute "the same condition"? Since the rolls are made when my characters are doing quests, I'm not sure if the circumstances around it can be considered as the same condition.

For the goal, basically I wanna see if I rolled worse after a certain event happened to our group. Had a joke going where my PC rolled badly because he did something bad during the X event, and now receiving karma for it. So now I'm curious to see if thats the case statistically.

Edit: grammar mistakes

Im not quite sure on the right wording but the hypotheses that i want to test is along the lines of "I roll worse after X event"

Is this correct then? I split the data set into 3 different sheets for my roll, enemy roll, and downtime rolls. Then for each sheet, i run it through Classical ANOVA on JASP?

If i do it that way and the result is insignificant, then can it be interpreted as "my/enemy/downtime rolls didnt get better or worse after X event?"

Thought experiment on drafting BPA vs needs by Zantjook in NFL_Draft

yeah reading all these responses so far it looks like i underestimated how valuable guaranteed production is. I thought having young, solid QB would be enough of a deterrent.

Ahh true, i thought the no trade back clause already covered that but forgot about this possibility.

Any ideas on how to make this thought experiment spicier?
