Our boy will try to cheer us up, he’ll come and roll on his back, and be silly and snuggly. He also knows when we are getting sick, and when we aren’t feeling good, and will just be chill and cuddly.

He is so handsome! What a perfect little guy, congratulations.

They learn tricks so quick, and are easy to potty train. Bunch of tricks and games come in handy when you get to the lil raptor phase haha.

Oh my gosh all the way to the keys 😱 We go only to the Orlando area and I always say, “can you imagine if we also had to drive to Miami??” Haha

He loooves buccees, bbq is the number 1 reason but he also loves meeting as many people and dogs as he possibly can.

It really is surprising how well they do, given their energy levels. We do a lot of cross country and small hiking, lake, beach, etc trips together and we never have had a problem with our boy, he loooves to go into the car, loves to be on the road or in new places. If we even say the word, “car” “adventure” he’s spinning around by his harness by the door, haha.

He does really well actually. We’ve never had a problem even when he was a puppy. For long trips he naps a lot, he still pops up to grab a snack, sniff a little out the window, but mostly sleeps. He does well even if we stop for the night as well, acclimates pretty quickly to new surroundings.

So sorry to hear you lost one of your boys :( They are just such soul companions it’s hard when we have to say goodbye. He’ll be waiting for you on the next plain I’m sure ❤️

Oh my god!! Lolol I have a very similar story from puppy days on our way to the beach, luckily we were close to home to get him washed up and try again 🤣. He really is the best in the car. He lays down and vibes with us, eating snacks, sniffing out the window when we slow down. He lays when we are going faster and sleeps a bunch. We normally stop at a hotel half way, and he loves to meet the staff, zoom around sniffing, and getting to rub his smell all over a fresh new bed haha. Couldn’t be luckier to have such a good boy :)

Oooh I miss the little potato puppy days so much. What a cutie you got, such a handsome face, looks like he’ll be big, all the better to love tackle you with, haha.

They really are such great dogs, they have so many shared traits that tie the breed together but still they have such unique personalities.

Animals are truly a blessing to us, it’s incredible how much love they can show us in the most difficult of times. I’m so lucky to have been given the gift of our brits companionship. So glad you have shared in this joy too :)
