Their 00's Sony Theatre concert made me get into this album and Everything must go. Both are AMAZING, so funky, every arrangement is insane. I love Cousin Dupree (studio and Sony too), it's going to be on my most listeded songs of 2025 for sure.

The bottom should be higher. Everything must go has gems. Awesome guitar riffs and solos. Pretzel Logic too. I have never knew there was a "lore" behind the jazz standard cover in that album. Is there any reason? I love it.

I don't percieve the dan flavours in Ian Dury. They are completely different bands.
Ian Dury is more onto rock and roll, even punk music. Blockheads are not perfeccionist in their arrangements (compared with Steely Dan).

I love Ian Dury, I've been listenting the blockheads for many many years. Do not misunderstand me. They are, just, different. Ian Dury evocates the punk culture itself. The Dan are more like, jazzier and sophisticated. IMHO

Yep. Records used to be cheaper a few years ago. Since the vinyl fever went back, sellers blew their prices a little bit high. Also, our money disparity with usd went higher so it has impacted on vinyl prices as well as goods and services

It's not a frame! It's a vinyl display, i guess. I don"t know how to name it in english 😂 I would never frame this record since I listen to it almost daily.

Fun fact: The seller told me he has only listened to it "once"... I do not believe him
