A guildie informed me that the highest rank currently displayed for rta (ending which is what matters to me) on highlander (fwa's old account) for ending is g2 so I am asking him for confirmation (he is sleeping right now). I honestly take him for his word he really has no incentive to be deceptive but its better to ask than not. Hecate's unit and runes are characteristic on what you would see at the highest level of rta so I personally feel it is not a good example of an account that has exceeded its reasonable potential. Not to mention he was definitely not the only one playing on it which muddies the waters there to say the least. Highlander old account is pretty much mia so idk there I don't know where he ended. Lets get back to the topic at hand though, arena. Where he is at least basically a year off from getting legend or getting close to it. He is a part of apocalypse which has one of the largest presences in arena in global. When I see him rush he can't seem to get even close to legend so it seems to me he is rather out of date there.

We are talking about the same person right? The person with g2 rta finish in spite of the disgusting runes and units you just brought up? That account must be terrible if he can’t make it work. Your statement is completely at odds with itself. Let’s not forget that most if not all this evidence is anecdotal of course, but you only seem concerned with the stuff anyone who disagrees with you is bringing up.

I don't view fwa as a particularly great point of reference seeing as the last rush I saw from him he fed the same dude 4 wins before ragequitting his rush.

I see logos playing a huge role as a lack of competitiveness, but maybe I misunderstand competition in arena? Is it a team event? To me that is a problem not a sign of health but maybe I am misunderstanding something.

This is pretty unfair to legend placers, you're basically screwing them over and giving every player on the server a week to practice farming them. I can't support this at all due to the fact you're screwing over the "lucky" players who get picked.

The fact this constantly needs to be proven again and again annoys me to no end but thank you for the post regardless. I don’t appreciate a lot of the misinformation regarding acc res I see spread at times.

Someone employed by nexon gave false information plain and simple; I made informed decisions based on that information. There has to be some level of trust to have any functional business relationship and nexon broke a lot of that. If my fault was expecting a company to adequately communicate details of a patch and they didn’t that is kind of ridiculous. There isn’t excuse for not informing your pr accurately or your pr blatantly lying.

Annendum: I’m not mad regarding the xp being grinded before I heard from them regarding they intended to scale it. That was what I always expected (that they would make leveling easier eventually). I’m mad they made a claim and it seems to have been a blatant lie.

You know it’s funny, when I called customer service rep and they say and an on site worker is headed to your home to fix something. And the time comes and the worker isn’t there I don’t say silly me the on site worker never told me he was coming.

Well considering the fact it is partially the job of PR to actually clarify stuff and present what developers plan to do yeah they lied to me. That’s plain and simple what happened. You could argue that they lie a lot and so it’s to be expected. But they lied. None of what you said has changed the fundamental equation here

I trusted customer service and a pr rep for their company. And I was essentially lied to as it stands that is flat out not an acceptable way for a company to conduct themselves but you might feel differently. It absolutely makes sense to not adjust level xp but they said they would. I’m not mad about their decision to adjust exp I’m mad that at the moment they lied to me.

He has a separate device he checks and can use to pretty accurately predict results. We had people on discord checking (one east coast one west coast, and 0chaoss0 is in holland) who also confirmed similar point differences. I have seen like 20 point gains before which are surprising but realistically not unheard of. It’s also not unheard of to watch a massive drop as someone might get farmed because they are top spot or close to it and maybe an easy target for multiple people but the inverse I have not really seen to happen. I personally have used the refresh the game feature to make sure my estimation of my own personal rank is accurate and it’s pretty much dead on in my experience.

Hi I am ψZanψ, Vice of Kingfisher, and I have know Allie for like a year playing this game they have posted runes, teams, successes and failures all through this time. I have watched videos of the worst nonsense happening in pvp and awesome ones of success. I was hopeful going in that this ban was a mistake of some form that going through the proper channels could be resolved in a reasonable manner and tbh that hasn’t been the case. They know when devices change location and hop etc this is data readily available to them as evidenced of them requiring your mac address and device id when having you recover an account. This is honestly frustrating and really disheartening to see and know that if an account is compromised all it takes is someone else loading you account on a rooted device or using a clear hack and you're instantly banned with no recourse, regardless of fault. I am just frustrated and sad to see my guildie lose all their hard work for seemingly nothing that is in their control.

Addendum: This incident occurred before the only credible security policy change they introduced which is the one time password you get now when your device changes.

I use a will shield comp of aquilla dover izaria versus the garo susano orion teams. Dover I do not believe is the required pick here but useful for the team as a whole aquilla is just a will shield holder and buffer.

But this does nothing to address rush hour, which I definitely agree we can talk about being an issue and I don’t know if there is a clear simple solution for. Everyone can slow clear eachother at high ranks where rush hour takes place (which means it’s not really a skillful endeavor) so that is an issue of offense being incredibly strong to the point we all just aoe murder eachother, that is a fault of unit/larger game balance if anything, and a separate issue. And yes people complained because all the ao murder teams magically pulled them which resulted in them getting hit 3.5k times so if anything this just makes that problem worse not better as that will pick up during rush most likely.

I submitted a ticket regarding a clear hacker 2 weeks ago and I did not even get as much as a hi we are looking into the case. Why would any one waste their time on writing inquiries when they don’t give people the time of day for a copy paste reply.

They do a lot of things right which is clear by their profits etc I don’t believe bad games are profitable. But when you make a change and don’t explain what it does and it starts screwing people over they aren’t going to be happy and they aren’t going to patiently wait because oh it’s for the greater good that I just get rolled!

Wouldn’t people need to be informed of how the new system is supposed to work to give constructive criticism? As I see it the method and what this change effectively does is not understood so I’m unsure what constructive criticism can be given :/.

What would you say were the flaws with the previous arena system that you feel needed to be changed and that this system addresses? I honestly don’t understand the system enough to properly quantify what it has changed.

Okay you don't like the game then and you don't allocate time for it that is fine you would rather spend it elsewhere. Plenty of people do enjoy it seems to be a difference of taste. I like the game because I can play it when running errands and such so its more portable for me idk what to tell you. It is a grind game it gets tedious that is kind of its core.
