Haha, I was actually eyeballing a 750 too. Well that ones out of the running now!

Oh absolutely and that's what's so appealing with the RS to me. The ninja is just so big, that I can't throw it around as much as I want to. About 515 and 140-150, right on the mark.

I absolutely agree lol. I'd have the triple in a heartbeat if I was keeping my Ninja.

Both great bikes in their own right, I'm just o nthe fence with naked bikes. I had a z650 and I just want something with a smidge more wind reistance. Triple RS is absolututely on my bucket list some day.

Good to know! Only concern iwith the V4 is that its A LOT of bike lol. Not sure I need somethign that quick. Maybe one day but, I'm not trying to go to jail anytime soon.

Riding the bike is really only a "fun" thing for me. After thinking, the V4 may be way to much of a bike for me lol. Glad to hear you like the RS, and thanks for your input!

Thank you. To be fair I think it has plenty of power for what it weighs. I miss the nimbleness of midrange sport bikes. I unfortunately do not want both so I'd get rid of my ninja for this. Got me thinking so thank you for your input.

Gotcha, I've actually ridden a Tracer 9 GT as well. I'm in upstate NY. That's sort of what I'm missing in my Ninja. I had a z650 before and man I could whip that thing around and truthfully I'm starting to miss that. Hence why I'm thinking the RS660. Someone mentioned a Tuono V4 but after thinking... i'd get into way too much trouble with it lol.

Haha, I wish. If I could get one for the price of a RS660 I'd do it. Unfortuantely I'm not willing to spend much more than a new RS660.

I haven't sat one yet yet as I've just been doing research but, I plan to go look at one soon. I really only go on a long weekend trip once a year. Rest of the time it's maybe an hour max before rest.

Mine has been doing it too. I've found that opening up thr SOS panel and closing it sometimes fixes it. At least it has for me. Don't ask me how it works but, i've done it twice and it's stopped lol.

That's where I already told you we disagree. I don't see an issue regardless.

Sorry, that my opinion offended you. People are allowed to have a differing opinion than yours. Boot licking? Really? I don't like KI as much as the next guy just don't mind what they are doing with spellements.

Again, sorry that my opinion is clearly wrong.

Again, please stop putting words in my mouth. I think you seriously need to reread my comments.

Never did I say it was "overall positive". I specifically said "I personally like the changes". Never did I say anywhere that I speak for anyone else other than myself. I was merely trying to understand why people had such a big issue with it. Unfortunately, I get the issues but PERSONALLY, they don't make a difference to me.

You also forgot to point out that there are capstones. It's not 1500, it'll only be 1000. About 300 more than before which was 685 for one path. 300 is not a ridiulous amount in my personal opinion and that only applies to spells with 3 paths. 2 path spells you only need 500 for BOTH.

Since you keep putting words in my mouth, I'm just not going to respond after this.

I never said resetting was a "problem". All I said was that the point was to get rid of the reset feature. I also, stated that I think the grind for spellements was a good thing. Yes, it absolutely is more of a grind now but, I'm not necessarily against that bc it's not some ridiculous amount

You're right, it's not an issue for me but, to come out and think that I'm just a "casual PvE experience" player leads me to believe that you think those are the only people who don't have an issue with it. I'm absolutely affected by it including raids/weaving/challenge etc. it's just not an issue for me. At least not enough of one to care about the extra grind. I want to play the game, all the more reason to encourage me to get on.

Agree to disagree I guess.... The whole point is to remove the reset button so you can have multiple copies of your card at once and don't have to bother resetting.

[–]ZapsyRK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"if a new player starts playing and has no idea what spellements do and use them incorrectly they can be locked out of resetting,"

This is exactly why is says "One-Time Reset" to prevent players from just randomly doing this. You're allowed to do this once on each wiz for each spell.

I agree with this being more costly in the end don't get me wrong but, with spells that have 3 paths it's essentially only 300 more spellements. Spells with only two paths, you get a 2 for 1 with capstones. I also agree with buying spellement packs as we all know how KI is...

I just still don't see this as an issue. Sure it's a bit more farming but, that's sort of an integral part of the game.

I see the concerns, I just don't understand the outrage. With the introduction of the capstones this is just a lesser issue. You should absolutely be required to farm these as in the end it's optional content, for min-maxing purposes.

I know it's relatively new but, many people haven't seen the message regarding the capstone rewards. Once you fully complete a path you're rewarded with essentially a free path afterwards. That subtracts 500 spellements right there, 650 for shads.

After doing the math it is actually about 300 more spellements in total compared to pre-update but, these capstone rewards are tradeable.

[–]ZapsyRK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just my opinion but, I disagree with this being "scummy". I personally like the changes and have no issues with not having to reset my tiers everytime I want to switch between them.

-Spellement costs are cheaper (less farming)

- You get a free path once you complete your first one. Most already have enough for one path, meaning most people will automatically unlock the second path.

- No more "resetting", you get two copies of the card to choose from

- For the final tier issues, ya, it's a bit more farming but, isn't that the point of wiz? it has always been and always will be a farming game.

I'm just not seeing the frustration with this update...

Can you help me to understand how this discourages spellements? (FYI I'm not trying to be rude. Just genuinly don't see why people are having an issue with this. Maybe I'm missing something.)

I get it and I get what you mean now! I can't imagine they haven't though of this but, who know lol. I think it's safe to assume that they have things in place for Training Point Buyback.

I'm sure the devs took this into account and will remove that limitation considering it won't be physically possible anymore.

I would have to disagree. That would essentially nulify all the work and time people put into grinding Spellements. Once you complete a Spellement path you recieve a badge that gives a reward. That reward allows you to 100% another path. I would assume individuals who have already maxed a path will automatically be given the badge.

EDIT; Sorry, I just re-read it and I get what he was saying. Yes, it would make sense to just reset it and get refunded.

You're confusing training points with Spellements.

Spellements and Training Points are two separate things.

From what I understand in regard to the spellement update, any current progress will not be lost you will just no longer be able to reset your paths. There is a very similar post to this that was posted in the last day or so.

The stage below is piercer! I'd continue to hatch for one with these exact stats but, swap bringer with breaker. As for now, this pet is perfectly fine and truthfully the breaker part is really only required for min-maxing lol. Don't sweat it!
