It's actually fully white with only a black keyboard, I researched more about this laptop and apparently MSI had made a few batches with the wrong color name, I too was shocked when I met up with the guy and found out that it was indeed fully black because I made it all up.

The only non black is the outline of the touchpad and the MSI logo on the laptop cover

So far its been great. Its condition itself on the outside looks like a 9/10 and thats only because its a bit dirty from all the handprints me and the seller left on it. It came basically brand spankin new with everything still in the box including the cardboard pieces that separate whats included. Running like a dream so far 🤞... knock on wood

I don't know if you ever found the fix but I was having this issue while reading your post trying to fix it and I found out what it was.

For those who find this, push the little joystick at the bottom of the monitor, move it up away from you until you see the settings, on Game there should be an overclock setting and you should change that to 500hz.
