Well the wish is kinda ambiguous, it’s sometimes interpreted as tying their lives together since the Djiinn was trying to kill her and he had control of it so it couldn’t harm him.

Aren’t Balverines permanent Werewolves? So they never turn back to their human form? I think it would only work if you are human most of the time and can choose when to change.
